In the early 1900s, sugar mogul Henry Oxnard outlined plans to use the acres of land along the Central Coast of California to grow sugar beets.
Oxnard intended to name the settlement after the Greek word for sugar - Zachari - but ended up dedicating the region after himself. Our resort name is inspired by Henry and his original vision to transform the region. Za • char • i [ZUH-CAR-EE]

An intimate establishment featuring low lights, comfortable lounge seating, small plates, and plenty of cocktails. If you ’ re looking to let loose, you can also catch the latest game or play a game of pool or shuffleboard with your friends Either way, come on and DIVE in for a great time.

With a soaring ceiling and breathtaking architecture, it’s no surprise the Constellation Room was inspired by the grandeur of the stars above. This space (1,085 sq. ft.) presents as the ideal environment for smaller receptions and business meetings that desire the warmth of natural lighting shining down from high-set windows.
SOLARIUM
There’s no need for a photo booth backdrop in this meeting space. The Solarium Room delivers the most picturesque background for receptions and events with its expansive windows that face the beach and the setting sun This 1,360 sq ft event space accommodates up to 80 guests.
TIDES BALLROOM
At 6,084 sq ft , the Tides Ballroom sets the stage for impactful general sessions and keynotes, with large-scale mahogany doors, high ceilings, and handsome iron chandeliers. Tides Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests. The adjacent pre-function area features 1,404 sq ft of sun-filled space, ideal for breaks, exhibits and networking
COASTAL BALLROOM
Our Coastal Ballroom takes the grand and makes it intimate, with 3,735 sq ft and a desirable second-floor location, accommodating up to 250 guests. The 1,920 sq. ft. pre-function space provides access to an open-air balcony.
