Kaslink is an innovative and flexible company specialised in developing and manufacturing premium Scandinavian food products including cooking products, drinks, and snacks. Our products are sold in over 15 countries in Europe. In August 2019, Kaslink became a part of another Finnish family-owned company, Fazer Group.
RESPONSIBILITY Sustainability – and having an environmental conscience in general – is something very dear to us. We use ingredients from local suppliers, and all distribution of our goods is handled with the lowest possible impact on the environment.
LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT Most of our goods are packaged using the 100 % recyclable Tetra Pak packages, which, in terms of logistics, are excellent for both transportation and storing. Most of the packages are made in Imatra, Finland, approximately 100 kilometres from our factory. The benefits of the Tetra Pak packages include low carbon footprint and renewable natural resources. The carton package also protects the product from sunlight and preserves the taste of the product without giving any flavour to the fresh content.
INGREDIENTS Our products are born out of using only fresh ingredients from pure Nordic nature. In order to reduce logistics emissions in our manufacturing processes, we collect these ingredients from local suppliers whenever possible. All Aito products are made of oats grown on Finnish fields.

SHROVE BUNS These lush sweet cardamom buns are made with Aito Oat Drink, filled with almond paste, jam, and fluffy Aito Oat for Whipping – totally vegan and dairy-free!
INGREDIENTS (10 buns) 3 dl Aito Organic Oat Drink 1 dl sugar 1,5 tsp ground cardamom 0,5 tsp salt 1 package (11 g) of dry yeast Around 7-8 dl of all-purpose flour Warm (room temperature) 80 g margarine More flour for rolling the buns + oat drink for brushing the buns DECORATION 2,5 dl Aito Oat for Whipping Almond paste Raspberry jam Powdered sugar

WARM Aito Organic Oat Drink to 42°C. Add sugar, salt, cardamom, and mix well. Mix together 3 dl of flour and dry yeast. Stir the flour into the liquid and gradually stir in the rest of the flour about 1–2 dl at a time. Add warm margarine before the last batch of flour and knead the dough for about 5 minutes. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise for 45 minutes. Pre-heat the oven to 225 degrees. On a floured counter, roll the dough into 10 buns. Let them rise while covered with a cloth for another 15 minutes. Brush the buns with oat drink and let them bake in the oven for 12–15 minutes. Let the buns chill for a while, then cut them in half. Whip Aito Oat for Whipping into a fluffy cream. Place a slice of almond paste inside the bun, spread a spoonful of jam, and add a generous dollop of fluff oat whip. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

VEGETABLE LASAGNA Aito Oat Cuisine is the perfect ingredient for a dairy-free and gluten-free bechamel sauce.
INGREDIENTS 200 g carrots 150 g celery 100 g onions 3 garlic cloves Approx. 250 g cooked red lentils or 300 g tofu (Note: smoked or other marinated tofu works well in lasagna, just make sure the tofu is gluten-free) 1 tbsp olive oil 500 g canned crushed tomatoes 0.5 dl tomato puree 1 dl water 1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano 2 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt ¼ tsp black pepper Bechamel sauce: 5 dl (2 packs) Aito Oat Cuisine 3 tbsp nutritional yeast 1.5 tbsp corn flour ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp white pepper ¼ tsp black pepper 12 gluten-free lasagna sheets Fresh basil or other herbs for serving

PREHEAT the oven to 175°C. Grate carrots with the smallest hole of the grater. Chop celery, onions, and garlic into tiny pieces. Drain and rinse lentils, or dry tofu, and crumble it with your hands into teeny pieces. Warm the oil in a pan and add grated carrots, celery, onion and garlic. Cook in medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, water, spices, and lentils or tofu. Let simmer covered in low heat for at least 15 minutes. Mix the bechamel sauce ingredients in a saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes. When the tomato sauce is ready, put a thin layer of it on the bottom of the lasagna pan. Add about 4 tbsp of bechamel sauce and then lasagna sheets on top. Spread tomato sauce on top, then 4 tbsp bechamel sauce, and add three lasagna sheets. The final layer should be tomato sauce and all the rest of the bechamel sauce to cover the whole lasagna. Cook in the oven for 35–40 minutes or until the lasagna sheets are soft enough. Serve the lasagna with fresh herbs, such as basil.

WHISK all crepes ingredients and let the dough set for about 30 minutes. Cook the crepes in a pan in oil (medium heat) about 2 min per side. Whip the Aito Oat for Whipping until it’s smooth and fluffy. Serve crepes with whip and jam.
