Sister sites The Hunter’s Moon and Ganymede have both received widespread acclaim for their epic Sunday roasts, and The Apollo Arms is following suit. Choose from butter roasted corn-fed chicken with bread sauce; treacle cured sirloin of beef with horseradish cream, or crisp suckling pork belly with caramelised apple sauce, each served with all the trimmings including a Yorkshire pudding, crisp and flu y roast potatoes and lashings of gravy.

The interiors are minimalist yet warm and inviting. With a ‘less is more approach’ to the décor, the space feels lived in, with the furnishings just getting better and better with age. With a neutral colour palette from taupe to dark greens to navy blues, the space is warmed with accents of gold, antique brass and marble, exuding style and charm. Further lending to the countryside aesthetic, antique furniture finds and vintage-style pendant lighting, along with marble top tables, and large statement mirrors complete the space.
