TIME | ARCHITECTURE | FLOW
Architecture is related to time as well as space. The structure created establishes a relationship with time and becomes an element of it. In the course of time, it stops somewhere, changes, develops and sometimes disappears. Sometimes it becomes the main role, sometimes the background of a scene, sometimes an object that evokes memories. As time flows around, it stops there and, despite all the flow, takes people to another part of time like a bridge in time. This bridge is completely personal. It can be any moment in time. It moves towards whatever moment the person is animating in his memory.

A thousand-year walk in the corridors of Hagia Sophia. One cannot tell when it is. It feels like it wouldn’t be odd if someone came out with a Roman dress and greeted through the narrow and continuously rotating stone walls of the dim light. It is as if it passes through time as it turns out of the walls that have backed ages. As you get closer to the end of the hallway, you don’t know what awaits you. Will you see the huge dome you just abandoned again or a thousand years ago? These corridors change the whole perception. The change of scales, materials and textures makes you perceive the space in which you dive again with a completely different eye. Ayasofya | İstanbul | 05.05.2019
Today, urbanization is increasing rapidly and completely unplanned in most metropolises. This evolves into an artificial formation where nature is ignored and only the needs of city life are tried to be met. Man is a part of nature, and the more architecture is in harmony with nature, the better results it will give for man and the cycle. However, people have forgotten these completely and waged war on nature. But this war is also against themselves. Because people come from nature, not concrete. Although it may seem like concrete cities are winning this war, nature is stronger than we think. .
