It is a little known fact that county-wide, the population of homeless children attending Volusia County schools averages over 2,000.
How Food Brings Hope Helps‌ Food Brings Hope achieves collaborative solutions for families with children that experience hunger due to homelessness, poverty, or unfamiliarity with community resources that provide nutritional assistance. We work closely with caring partners in the school district, social service agencies, and other friends who provide us with the benefit of their time and/or contributions. Our initiative is an after-school program that provides at-risk students with meals, within the structure of a tutoring atmosphere and activities program.

It is one of the most phenomenal energy stories in recent years with the USA now being considered the Saudi Arabia of natural gas. Because of its abundance, natural gas has become the most economical fuel for both our homes and businesses. Using natural gas will improve your home’s value, make resale easier and add comfort and luxury to your largest investment. While a natural gas tankless water heater will improve your home’s overall efficiency by about six percent, it also will make your life so much more pleasant. Finally, the entire family can shower in the morning and never run out of hot water! Once you’ve made natural gas a part of your home, there are so many other great features that can be added. The Food Network, one of the most watched television channels, reports that 98 percent of professional chefs prefer cooking on natural gas. The added control is essential to great cooking, giving you the ability to cook like the professionals do.
