India's bird diversity conservation system is not well developed and diversity remains neglected. The coastline of Alibaug includes 30% of resident birds and 70% of migratory species. With the current development of Alibag and its surrounding areas, Alibaug has become a recreational destination for the residents of Mumbai city and tourists from all over the world. Therefore, the demand for beach views and other recreation has led to an infrastructure that serves humans that is rapidly encroaching on the natural habitat of birds. The design focuses on balancing and maintaining the landscape and ecology of the area, creating a beach where birds and humans live together.
