Graycie was holding my cell phone. I couldn’t find it before school so I had left it at home. Now I realized that someone wanted me to think that my cell had gone astray. ‘What are you doing?’ I asked. ‘We’re shooting a film,’ the cats replied. ‘With your phone, because we don’t have a camera.’ ‘What kind of film?’ ‘An action and adventure movie, naturally. Chart lives in the highest mountains in Poland, in the Tatra Mountains. He is a German shepherd and he is already five years old. That is quite a lot for a dog. One could say that Chart is in his prime. You probably think that since Chart is an avalanche dog, he only works in the winter. First of all, winter in the Tatra Mountains is so long that there are avalanches even in April. Second of all, an avalanche dog must be strong and fit so they train a lot in the summer and participate in trainings
and special actions, for example they help find tourists lost in the mountains. His nose is always on duty. He has no time for holidays.

hand. He had spent many sleepless nights thinking how to turn that energetic and disobedient girl into a well-mannered lady. Milo liked Marianne the way she was, that is a little bit crazy and a little bit different than other girls. ‘Theoretically, it should fly!’ Marianne announced with joy and pride in her voice. She brushed a lock of her curly ginger hair from her forehand. ‘Hey, how’s it going? What are you working on?’ Milo said and he stopped at the workshop’s threshold, petrified. ‘What is that?’ he looked at his friend. ‘Cool, isn’t it?’ Marianne sniffled. ‘It’s my newest creation’ she said proudly. Milo walked closer to the creation, his eyes were getting bigger and bigger as was admiring it. Now he knew why for the last few days they had been bringing in lots of junk form the scrapheap. He recognized cogs, pipes, rods, and elements of a rusty bicycle. ‘Just a few more welds and it’s ready’ Marianne put the welding mask on. ‘Whoa, you want to weld it now?’ Milo was always scared of those tiny, shiny sparks flying in all directions. His mum did not allow him to even touch a hammer, while Marianne could use freely much more dangerous tools. ‘One day that girl will burn her house down, with her father inside!’ Halina Pcinska, Milo’s mum predicted. ‘Poor

SUBMISSION That’s the kind of behaviour where we don’t pay attention to what’s import ant to us. We’ll do everyt hing to please the other person - becaus e we’re scared. If you feel like this describ es you, it means that for some reasons, you feel like you can’t be yourself. Your happiness and wellbeing are the least import ant to you. You feel that agreeing to everyt hing will make everyone like you, accept and love you. It turns out that despite everything you do, you are not happy. On top of that, nobod y takes you seriously.

AGRESSION This behaviour is based on violen ce as the only solution to everything. There are two kinds of violen ce: physical and emotional. Physic al violence occurs when you put a finger on someone without their consent. It means pushing, kicking , knocking over, damaging their stuff. Emotional violen ce is when you’re diminishing anothe r person, wheth er it happens face to face, or in front of others. When you’re bullyin g, lying about them, gossiping, ignorin g their needs. At the base of aggres are fear and lack sion there of self-acceptan ce.
COURAGE
This one means that you stand up for yourself when you disagre the situation, or e with stand up for others , when they are me a warrior, a in danger. You self-defender. Being becobrave can be reinfor ced by: 1. Keeping your back straight. 2. Looking straigh t in the eye. 3. Using firm voice when saying ‚No!’.
How will you know that this process has already begun? Just like the first buds blooming on a tree announce the arrival of spring, your first signs

Whether it’s at home with your parents, or at the school hallwa y. When you’re shopping centre at the and someone chats you up. These are situations, that we don’t always know how to react to. Usually one of the three defence mecha nisms kicks in.
It is all caused by raging hormones,

In one charming place, ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF A CERTAIN SMALL town, there is a house. Mrs Maria and her teenage grandson John live in this house. Apart from the fact that they are family, they have one more thing in common: their LOVE OF DOGS. There is a HUUUGE GARDEN at the back, where Mrs Maria set up a DOG SHELTER. At the beginning, there were only a couple dozens of dogs, but slowly, more and more people started bringing abandoned dogs there. And sometimes some of the dogs would fall in love with each other and their little puppies came into the world a few months later. Last year in Mrs Maria’s shelter there were a lot of dog couples and MANY
