I Don’t Want To Be Like YOU. I don’t want to be like you. I can be like everybody else, but you. You’re not the worst person ever created, But I swear, I don’t adore you even in your deepest sleep. You live to please people, Giving smiles on your deepest expense. You care for people who care less about you. You spend half of your life chasing people Who run away from you, and I hate you for that. I hate you for abandoning your own skin. I hate you for allowing everyone to the inner core of your heart I hate you for accepting hurt, pain and rejection every day. I hate seeing you cry yourself to sleep, and not speaking your mind. I don’t want to be like you. You ignored Self- confidence when he called you. You gave a cold shoulder to Self-love when she visited. You always play second fiddle to your heart and it hurts my feelings. I wish you knew how special you are. I wish you could believe more in that person in your mirror, Before you commit your beliefs to anyone else. I wish you could realise how great you can be, Maybe then, I will want to be like you...
