Welcome to the August issue of ZINEthirteen! This also happens to be the 13th issue! SUPER SPECIAL! In this month’s issue, you will find a larger portion dedicated to the tour, since that is the major event still going on Taylor wise. :) There is still a list of Swifties who will be attending the different concerts, so if you are going, please be sure to let me know! Even if the list is slowly coming to an end. :( This tour has been so much fun for Taylor and for the fans. It will be so sad to see it come to an end! But, I am happy to see Taylor living this beautifully happy life. She always seems to be beaming! I love that! There are featured fan photos that include outfits, posters and photos from the show. the magazine because I get to showcase how amazing and creative you guys are! Seeing your outfits and ideas is so exciting to me. You execute them SO well and they all look fantastic! During this tour, Taylor changes up a few of her outfits from day to day. Maybe she feels like being a Tide Pod one night, maybe she wants to be Cotton Candy the next. Who knows! That adds to the excitement of what outfit she might wear that night along with what surprise song she might be singing. I love that even though many people already see the tour through posts on social media, she still tries to surprise the fans each night with something a little different so that not every single show is the same as the last. It makes everyone’s
show a little special to them depending on the song or outfit she might wear. It’s cool that she thinks about EVERYTHING. She truly cares about the fans and does everything she can to make us feel special. I know I say this A LOT. But, it’s absolutely true. I also want to encourage more fans to submit to the zine! There definitely have been a whole lot more people submitting photos and stories than when this first started, but the more that gets sent in, the better this zine becomes! This is completely for the fans and by the fans! It makes me smile so much to have someone compliment the zine or contribute a story that they want to share. I love that you guys are becoming so involved with all of this! Thank you!

Taylor had just performed an amazing show of her reputation stadium tour in New Jersey at MetLife Stadium. Little did she know, she had a surprise waiting for her backstage. After all the fun of performing, Big Machine Label Group President and CEO Scott Borchetta surprised Taylor backstage with six RIAA certified plaques for reaching significant sales milestones, including a Triple Platinum Certification for reputation a Diamond Certification for her 2008 album Fearless and a Double ZINE THIRTEEN ISSUE 13 AUGUST 2018
Platinum Certification for single “…Ready For It?”, Platinum Certification for singles “Delicate” and “End Game” in addition to a Quadruple Platinum Certification for the single “Look What You Made Me Do.” WOW! Excuse me, Miss Taylor...We did NOT ask for you to make us go even more broke with these beautiful merch items! HA! So, some new items have hit Taylor’s online store and the temptation is TOO MUCH TO BARE. Taylor launched an entire line dedicated to her cats. Yep, that’s right, you can now own items with the adorable image of Meredith and Olivia Swift on them. CUTEST ITEMS EVER! This ranges from items like stickers, pens, earrings and iron on patches. Fans have been wanting merch with these two cutie pies on them for years! We are finally living our best life with these new items! YAAASSS!! What else? There are sunglasses that are all REP-LICIOUS! They come in three colors...black, silver and gold. The majority of them are black, but with a hint of snake skin at the top. Very “Look What You Made Me Do” video for sure. Lastly, there is a gorgeous new lithograph in the store! This image displays Taylor in an open dessert landscape with colorful smoke bombs going off behind her. REputation tour Projects You May Want to Join tanya ohnmeiss
Want to take part in some fan projects during reputation tour? Look no further! Here are some projects you might want to participate in! REPUTATION PROJECT: For this project, a group of swifties came together to unite the fandom during the song, Gorgeous on tour. The project involves printing and cutting out pink hearts that will then be held up to your phone’s flashlight, causing the light to glow pink. The hope is to get the audience to glow pink as much as possible during the song. You can follow @reputation project for more details and to find the template to print your own hearts at home! PROJECT REPUTATION: This project is meant to avoid any spoilers while on tour. There are some fans out there who would like to be completely surprised when they see Taylor on tour, so this account is trying to spread awareness of that. They aren’t saying to not post tour photos at all, but to respect other fans by posting with multiple photos and use a cover photo with text reading, “SPOILERS” or “PROTECTING REPUTATION’S REPUTATION.” This way, fans can still post photos and spoilers from the tour without ruining it for those who haven’t seen Taylor yet. Taylor had two very special guests since the past issue and fans went absolutely crazy over them! HAYLEY KIYOKO
Hayley Kiyoko met up with Taylor at Gillette Stadium on July 26th. According to Hayley, Taylor suggested that they sing Hayley’s single, “Curious” off her second studio album “Expectations.” This particular track is about a relationship between a woman who has as a boyfriend, but won’t quit playing games with Hayley’s heart. Hayley spoke in an interview saying that when she stepped onto the stage, she felt a whole new level of star power. She said, “Taylor was like, ‘Is this your first stadium performance?” Hayley said. (It was.) “It was as amazing as it could seem in the sense of, I

Next on the special guest list was Bryan Adams! Bryan joined Taylor on stage in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Rogers Centre on August 4th. This happened to be Taylor’s second night of performing in Toronto. Bryan was in the city since he had a gig the previous night. Taylor invited him to sing a song with her on stage. This song happened to be “Summer of ‘69.” Taylor came onto the stage wearing a very colorful, sparkley jacket along with an electric Taylor Swift and Bryan Adams performing Summer of ‘69 on August 4th, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Rogers Centre guitar. first lyrics of the song, which then followed up with Bryan Adams rising from the elevator lift from the floor. It was a night full of so much energy and excitement! The crowd went absolutely WILD! I was very lucky enough to witness this duo sing this live since I attended this concert! Such a special time! It seems as though Taylor has less special guests this tour compared to 1989 Tour. However, that doesn’t make this tour any less magical. It is an absolutely amazing show, she truly outdoes herself! Thank you Taylor for all your awesome surprises! Trisha, a lovely lady who is a major Taylor fan has end-stage Cystic Fibrosis. For those who may not know what this is, Cystic Fibrosis causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. Trisha is 30 years old and her health is tragically declining. She mentioned on Tumblr that she currently has 21% lung function, had dozens of surgeries and takes 60 pills a day just to stay “healthy.” Although her illness might bring her down sometimes, she tries the best she can to stay positive throughout this difficult situation. She posted on Tumblr, “It hurts to know your dreams will never come true, I’ll never get married, have children, own a home, everything my friends are doing. But hoping my one dream of meeting Taylor Swift will come true!! You must pick yourself up and dust the bad off because life is too short to be sad or angry all the time. Always look for the good in life! It’s all around us! No matter what emotion I am feeling there’s a Taylor Swift song that will help me in some way! I owe Taylor the biggest hug for helping me get through some of the roughest times of my life. I NEED her to know how important she is to me and that her music saves me!”

Laura, a sweet long-time fan of Taylor was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May 2017. She has undergone several treatments, surgeries and scans since her diagnosis. She has stayed so strong and positive throughout all of these difficult times. Taylor was always there for her when Laura needed her. Laura would listen to Taylor’s music while in the hospital to put herself in a better mood. On August 6th, Laura (@1you9are8n9love) tweeted out absolutely awful and sad news... “it hurts my heart i even have to type this. there is nothing more they can do. i was sent home. please understand if i’m not super active on here for a couple days. i’ll be back here soon though! i have to try my hardest to meet taylor because i don’t have time to wait anymore.” Many fans were quick to reply with kind, heartfelt messages filled with love. The Swiftie community all came together with the hashtag of #GetLauraToTaylor to spread awareness, as well as tagging Taylor & Taylor Nation. As the social media posts grew and grew, Laura expressed her thanks online for everyone who was trying to help her meet Taylor. On August 10th, something beautiful and wonderful happened. Okay, so my mom wasn’t planning on getting tickets bc we don’t have enough money for them, but when Tay announced the second Philly date on the thirteenth, she decided she had to at least try to get tickets. So she tried to get nosebleeds, but last second the website got all screwed up and kicked her off and when she got back they were gone. So instead she bought more expensive ones bc at this...She didn’t want to let us down. She surprised us and I swear I was the happiest I’ve ever been. Ever. I was so excited to be going on the thirteenth too. So when the day arrived we drove there, and my mom is handicapped and she got special permission to park in like a close parking lot, but we pulled over to ask a man at a VIP parking lot where to go to get there and he pulled us into the VIP

one and to side and then went to talk to a manager guy and then he said just pull in there...(As in the VIP parking lot). So that was cool. Then we went to guest services to get our seats moved to handicap accessible and the ones we got were SO CLOSE we would have been above both club levels, but we were below and facing right stage. It was AMAZING. I’ve never been so close for a concert that matters so much to me! It was literally the most amazing experience!
August 14, 2018 was my first Taylor Swift concert. I couldn’t afford to go to the Red Tour, so upon realizing I could go to the 1989 Tour I was estatic! The concert was incredible. The entire show, I was amazed by the costumes, the dancers and actually seeing Taylor in the flesh. There was such a magical rush I felt when leaving the concert, which made me want to return to Taylor’s following tour, Reputation, which was even better! 13/10 experience!

we are swifties Lotte’s Mission: B Stage Green Jacket Tanya ohnmeiss

If you are part of the Swiftie fandom, many know of Lotte, the talented girl who recreates Taylor’s outfits. She sews and bedazzles her way into make the most beautiful pieces that look just like Taylor’s clothing. It is remarkable! Lotte has been making these works of art for several years now. She went to see Taylor on rep tour wearing a similar body suit that Taylor wears when she is first on stage to sing “...Ready For It?” This outfit was an absolute hit! She did an adorable costume change from Taylor’s “Band Uniform” in the classic “tear away” fashion that Taylor does, to reveal her black body suit underneath. So cool! Now, Lotte’s latest mission is to recreate Taylor’s B-Stage green jacket that is loaded with sequins and fun patches. In the photos, you will see Lotte’s process from when she began cutting the fabric to the size that would be suitable for her, along with the journey to getting the sequin detailing as well as the patches. She even added rhinestones by hand to her patches she put on the jacket! So much attention to detail! The largest piece to this jacket was the big snake that appears on the back. She cut the form of the snake, then hand placed sparkley gems to make it complete, with the help from her sister. Wow! Lotte plans wear this jacket to Taylor’s Nashville show on August 25th! I’VE GOT A BLANK SPACE BABY... If you or someone you know would be interested in submitting content for ZINEthirteen, please let me know! There are multiple ways to submit items. Through social media (@zinethirteen) as well as email, zinethirteen@gmail.com. The more fan content submitted, the better! Would love to make this into a fun project each month for fans all around the world to contribute to! Content to be Submitted: • Fan Art •Fan Stories (ex.
