Hi, guys! It’s Tanya. :) So, welcome to the October 2017 issue of ZINEthirteen! This is officially the third issue to be published! YAY! I’d like to say THANK YOU to everyone who supports this idea and to anyone who has read past issues or possibly reading this for the first time. You are all aboslutely wonderful and I am very thankful to have you take part in this whole experience! This online magazine is basically something to do in my spare time for fun. Since I love Taylor and I am also a graphic designer, why not put the two together? I used to create banners on Taylor
Connect under the username “tanyaxoh” and have a website (www.taylorswiftgraphix.webs. com) that displays a lot of my banner work (if anyone is interested to see my past work). It’s been a long time since I have updated the site, but I don’t want to erase everything. It’s actually pretty fun to take a look back at from time to time to see where I started and where I’m at now, design wise. Anyway! In this issue there will be a few new items featured that I am very excited about! There is more to see under the social media section, which features a lot more than last month. Lots of
Taylurking! Which is so fun to see Taylor getting back into that! Be sure to check out those awesome swifties who are featured in the social media section too! :) Another new feature is the fan stories section! It is starting off a little small for now, but I am hoping with your help, we can make that a bigger section each month! I would love to hear everyone’s stories, whether it be meeting Taylor, her band, or family...the story on how you became a fan... or just your throughts on a new song, her style, or really anything you want pertaining to Taylor! It all would make an awesome contribution to this magazine! I’m
sure others would love to read what you have to say as well. Please don’t be shy! You don’t have to be a professional writer (I’m sure not!) in order to submit a story! No judgement to be made, we’re all friends here! Hope to hear from you soon. :)

Whoa, whoa, whoa...does that headline actually read “Taylurking in person?!” YES. YES, IT DOES! I’M FREAKING OUT ABOUT IT TOO! LIKE WHAT?! ALKSDFLKSDFLSKJDK!!!! Okay, okay...calming down a BIT. Still absolutely CRAZY right now! WOW! :) So, as we know, Taylor has been lurking around on Instagram a lot lately, surprising fans by popping up in their livestreams, sending DM’s ect. You can refer to pages 4 & 5 for photos. ;) Fans were freaking out all over the world about this! And now, word has gotten out that Taylor herself delivered a package of Reputation goodies to Lara (ig: laraheartstaylor) by going directly to Lara’s house in the UK! WHAT?! How amazing is that?! Taylor has been known for doing wonderful things for her fans, we all remember the Secret Sessions as well as the packages for the holidays, among the other amainzg things she does for all

of us. Now, she did the ultimate surprise of showing up to a fan’s house! She never ceases to amaze us and find more and more ways to make us feel special. She makes sure that we feel loved and that we are imporant to her. Well, Taylor, YOU are very important to us and we love you dearly! The reaction videos on Lara’s
instagram page are absolutely priceless and down right adorable. If you haven’t seen them yet, please be sure to head over to her page. The photos and videos will honestly fill your heart with so much happiness, it’s ridiculous! Seeing all of these posts about Taylor lurking around and seeing the expressions on fan’s faces is
probably the most beautiful thing in the world. Taylor makes us all so happy and for her to go that extra step further to do things like this, makes our happiness levels that much higher! Thank you Taylor for being so involved with our lives and showing how much you care about us. You truly are a beautiful soul. :)

The Swift life Taylor’s Mobile App TANYA OHNMEISS

It’s been announced that Taylor is releasing a mobile application in late 2017 called, “The Swift Life.” YAAASSS!!! So far, it seems like it will be a social media type platform where fans can make posts, chat and get exclusive content from Taylor. Here’s another fun part, Taylor herself will be able to chat, “like” posts and see what her fans are up to! Wait...is this all so it makes Taylurking even easier for her?! Haha. Also...who is going to be there to teach Taylor how to use her own social media?! I know the fans helped her out with Tumblr. Is she going to lock herself in her room to learn The Swift Life too? Haha, love you, Tay. ;) Anyway, other features include “Taymojis” which will be cute little
Taylor related emojis to collect and share with friends. Fans will also be able to listen to music, which will be updated frequently. At the end of the promo video, a cartoon-like Olivia walks across the screen. Is this potential for some sort of Taylor related game? Many celebrities have taken to the app world creating various games, maybe Taylor will dive in as well? We will have to wait and find out! Very excited to see all the features that app will have. It sounds very similar to how her website forum page is. However, now fans will have the ability to make posts easily from their phone! Very cool! Woman Dresses Foster Kittens Like Taylor Jessica, a veterinarian based out of Portland, Oregon, dressed up her seven foster cats in handmade Taylor Swift costumes. She was inspired to make the costumes after watching Taylor Swift’s music video for “Look What You Made Me Do.” She posted them on her Instagram page, @wahinepunk & people instantly fell in love! Although not everyone may love Taylor as much as we all do, but, how could you not think these kittens are adorable?! It’s just im-paw-sible! (see what I did there) She dressed each up in various costumes ranging from Taylor’s sparkly dress from the Fearless Tour to the ballerina from the “Shake It Off” music video. Some kitties even had props! Jessica was totally on point with all of these little outfits that she made for the kittens. Absolutely ADORABLE TO THE MAX! Let’s meet meet these cuties, shall we? :)

me just want to hug them! The colors of the bridesmaid dresses are gorgeous and compliment each of the ladies very well. I like that not every dress was the same style but kept the theme together with being the same color.
It’s a fun way to let each bridesmaid express their own style but keep with the bride’s vision, color wise. Great choices too! Of course, Taylor looks stunning and looks like she was having a blast in these photos!
I can only imagine the joy she must have felt for her best friend. Truly incredible! Congratulations Abigail and Matt! May your love story continue on with many beautiful memories as you take your journey through life together. :)

Okay, so, I met Scott in Dallas. I decided to walk about the stadium because of all the stories about people running into Taylor before the show. I completely regretted doing that. Sort of. The walk was exhausting! It took forever to walk the perimeter of the AT&T Stadium. And it was so freaking hot! But, I made it. When I went inside, Scott was just standing in the lobby. When I was 5 years old, I loved Taylor’s music. I had a diary that I had written the lyrics to Fearless in, it wasn’t spelled right but it was there. Speak Now came out when I was 6 and I was listening to it on a long plane ride home. When Red came out I remember listening to it at my birthday party. Then 1989 came out and I listened to it so much that that’s when I started to notice Taylor Swift being an amazing inspiration. That Christmas my mom gave me an envelope that I opened and it said Taylor Swift 1989 World Tour, I started crying. I could not believe that I was going to see Taylor Swift live! That night I had a panic attack for some reason. Me and my mom had to go to the bathroom

WE ARE SWIFTIES Magnetic Connection Project TANYA OHNMEISS

During the Speak Now era, I came up with a fan project that I entitled, “The Magnetic Connection Project.” This project’s basic idea was to involve fans from around the world to submit a photo of themselves making a handheart that I would then turn into Polaroid style magnets. The whole idea behind the magnets was that our bond to Taylor was strong like the force of magnets towards one another. I used to be a avid memeber of Taylor Connect, Taylor’s online forum pages. I posted my project idea in the forum and several people were interested to join in. All together, I had 45 swifties participate in this! Which was awesome! I collected their photos, put their names or usernames at the bottom of each photo, along with their age and where they are from (if they wanted to include this info). Another part of the gift was a mini booklet that had notes from each person who joined the project. I had won free tickets to the Speak Now concert in Tampa, FL on November 12th, 2011 from the Cover Girl make-up contest on Facebook. My mom and I went to the concert together, where we met a few other swifties who won the contest as well. Which is where I met one of my swiftie bff’s Tiffany! :) Anyway, I was able to give ZINE THIRTEEN ISSUE 03 october 2017
my project to a woman named, Brittany. Who I later realized was Taylor’s bestie that she grew up with. Who would have known?! But, Brittany said that she would give this gift to Taylor for me (yay!). Sure enough, Taylor DID in fact receive my gift. How do I know this for sure? A photo was posted on Instagram of herself, Kelly Osborne & Claire Winter having a fun time baking in her kitchen...but what was behind them attached to the fan above her stove? THE MAGNETIC POLAROID PHOTOS I MADE! WHAAAAAT?! When I saw this the day it was posted I had the biggest burst of excitement EVER. I instantaniously cried and was so overwhelmed with happiness in that moment. Just thinking back to it now, I am still emotional about it! Something I created was IN TAYLOR’S HOUSE! This project that we all

came together to work on was in TAYLOR’S HOUSE. I couldn’t believe it. I was so thankful to see that she did that. That she cared enough to put those magnets up where she would see them all the time! To everyone who joined in on the project, THANK YOU. Because of all of you, the project was a huge success and ended up being displayed in Taylor’s house in LA! Those photos were still up, even during the 1989 Secret Sessions, because you can see them in the video! (Thank you to my best friend, @aaswiftie13

We were both mutuals on Instagram. I made a post about how I was going to one of the AT&T fan parties and she said she was going to the same one. So we started dming each other and made a plan. So the day of the party, I show up and she was there too. I was so excited to meet a fellow local swiftie and she was too. We sang as loud as we possibly could and just had the best time standing in line. She promised that she would take me if she won and I didn’t and I promised the same thing. We waited all day and then finally her name as called. We were both shocked and happy,
we were both going! It was her first time going to a Taylor concert and it was my fourth time. I ended winning tickets as well and I was completely over the moon excited about it. I had never won anything before. And so we went to the show together, along with my plus one. We had the most magical night. It was just the best. After that night, we became best friends, we txt and call and hang out all the time. We’re even planning on going to multiple shows for the tour. I am so happy that she’s in my life and I’m grateful to Taylor for bringing us together. Everything has changed.
