Venture Name Zoobie Designs.
Public Disclosure Summary
Designing is my life, and my passion, and I want to turn my passion into a success by creating my own business and selling my designs. Zoobie Designs features artwork/designs created by me, Zoe Bingley (owner & founder of Zoobie Designs), to be placed on various different P.O.D (print on demand) products. That way, customers will have a range of different products that they can choose, to place my design on. It gives them variety, which is paramount in my business.
Venture Overview
My idea is to create a number of different designs, of various different genres, and upload them so they can be printed on a number of different mediums (i.e. t-shirts, mugs, bags, clocks, laptop skins, and even shower curtains and bedspreads). That makes it easier for me, as I don’t have to worry about supply ordering or printing myself, it’s all done through an online source, meaning I have more time to create designs to place on these products. The problem with this is mass production. The designs lose their uniqueness, and therefore customers may lose interest, and demand for the products will go down. But, on the other side, if I keep creating new designs to put on these products, interest will be increased.
Target Audience/Market
I am aiming to sell these products to everyone. I have designed them in such a way that they can be bought/worn by anyone. People are always looking for new and interesting things to buy, and I believe I have given them that through my designs. I believe the market for P.O.D products is on the rise. People want nice designs on a range of different products that are easy to buy. They will buy my products not only because my designs are different and unique, but because of the way I have marketed them. I know this because of who I marketed it to. My family are my best advertisers, because they have influence and can get the word out. If they want to buy it, then other people will want to buy it too.

Resources
At the moment, I am the only one involved. I create the designs and upload them to the printing company website so they can be printed. My financial situation is… bleak at best. Luckily, I don’t require much to get my designs out there. All I have to do is pay a small, once off fee to the site who prints the products, so they will feature my designs on their products. They do the rest, and I receive a commission from every product that is sold with my design on it. As soon as somebody buys something with my design on it, it’s an instant profit to my business. Once I make enough money from this, I might then be able to expand my business and start creating and selling my own products. For now, my venture is right where I want it to be, it’s not costing me anything, and I’m getting my designs out into the world.
Development
Marketing, marketing, marketing. I want my products to sell, so I need to get the word out as much as I can, using as many different avenues as I can. That way, people will buy my product, and I will obtain enough profit to start designing and printing on my own. First and foremost, I want people to like what they are buying, if they do, they’ll not only buy it themselves but recommend it to their friends and families. Word of mouth is a very important part of my business.

Time to get WILD!
Zoobie Designs and the WILD Foundation will be joining forces in the month of November to raise awareness for our environment. Gold Coast, Queensland: The WILD Foundation has worked to protect the wilderness, help people, save wildlife, and generate a global movement for wilderness and wild nature. But it still needs your help. Zoobie Designs and WILD are aiming to raise environmental awareness by holding a series of fundraisers, which will give people the chance to donate to the foundation. We will also be selling products created by Zoobie Designs to help the WILD Foundation continue to protect our wilderness. The effort is part of a national program called ‘Nature Needs Half’. It works in a collaborative manner, across borders and in many different language. They work with local partners to ensure that projects are implemented according to local traditions, customs and manners. All projects are supported by the experienced and knowledgeable staff at the WILD Foundation. “We’re looking to state organizers, educators, and leaders from our community to help with this effort,” says Vance G. Martin, President. “The key to this project is participation.” The fundraisers will be held at various different locations around the state. Stall will be set up so customers can look at, and purchase the various different products that will be on sale. Items such as, water bottles, t-shirts, phones cases, as well as various other goodies will be available for purchase from these stalls. All money raised will go towards funding for the ‘Nature Needs Half’ program. If you would like to volunteer to help out your local fundraiser, just sign up on the WILD Foundation’s website. All help would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, just come on down and purchase some cool stuff and support WILD. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces. Zoobie Designs features artwork/designs created by me, Zoe Bingley (owner & founder of Zoobie Designs), which are placed on various different products. That way, customers will have a range of different products that they can choose, to place their chosen design on.
