Non-District Key Clubs Key Club operates in over 38 different countries around the world. Here are some, just to list a few:Â Korea Bahamas Europe France Eastern Canada Australia Malaysia Jamaica Philippines United Kingdom Germany Taiwan
All of those listed above, and MORE, are non-district Key Clubs!
What does this mean? This means that Key Clubs in those countries are not part of a district like CNH. Instead, they work individually! What often happens is an American alumni will transfer abroad and start one at an American and International School, OR a Key Club will be started by exchange students once they return home! Some may even exist in homeless shelters and orphanages, like the Father Manti Shelter Home in the Philippines!
What have they been up to? Malaysia At the International School of Kuala Lumpur, Key Clubbers have found focus on helping refugees! Through this experience, and because so many are around the same age, refugees and Key Clubbers have been able to build relationships with one another!
Brazil Similar to Kuala Lumpur, the American School of Rio de Janeiro is also working to better the lives of refugees! In April of 2017, members held a school supply drive where everything that was donated went to a local refugee camp!
Philippines Rather than focusing on service, the Father Manti Shelter Home Key Club is working towards providing orphans with reputable professional skills!
Europe In areas like Europe, the focus of Key Club members is on leadership training and development! This is because, rather than nonprofits providing resources like in America, the government does so.Â

DIVISION RECOGNITION
First of all, congratulations! Being chosen for this recognition is truly an honor, and you should be excited! I, as well as everyone on the district board, am extremely proud of you and grateful for your service. It is because of people like you that our district is so successful. It is important to remember that although Key Club is not about the recognition but about the service, recognition does play a role in our district, something that myself and the committee I serve make sure of. Again, congratulations and remember to keep on striving to do your best!

DECEMBER DISTRICT CALENDAR What is a division council meeting? A Division Council Meeting (DCM) is a meeting conducted by the respective Lieutenant Governor for the members of his or her respective division. DCMs are full of information about upcoming events, education about Key Club, and much more. There is always something for everyone at a DCM! At DCMs, you will learn more about various projects and events, get involved with the division and its people, and gain a better understanding of how great this organization truly is. You are encouraged to attend in order to learn more about what’s been happening in Key Club, and why it matters to you. Some DCMs are even combined with a service project, fundraiser, or social event so you can be there for more than one reason!
