AUTUMN 22 Friendships!
This ZOEY Magazine, for Autumn 22, we have decided to dedicate to FRIENDSHIPS. Is there anything greater, really?

Friends can come in so many variations, shapes and sizes. Close friends, those we only see once in a while, colleagues and that acquaintance we greet if we cross them on the street. But each and every one affects our lives as we do for them. It gives me such a warm feeling of belonging to know that I have a place in this great web of friends; And that my short “Hi” probably means a lot for someones day. I am so very fortunate to have a group of friends that I have now known for 45 years! We dine together at least once every month, but often I see them much more than that. We know each other as the person we were as kids and teenagers, something none of us will ever have with anyone else. That is so special to me. At ZOEY we loved creating this collection of course, but especially the pictures for this magazine showed us that you could also make new friends in just one day and have so much fun! The photoshoot team knew just how to help each other out, keep a fun tone throughout the day and push each other to get the greatest result – just as the friends you choose outside work. I hope the stories of this magazine will reflect the best parts of friendships and maybe inspire you to call your BFF’s and tell them that you love them. And maybe ask them on a dancing date or out for lunch? I think I’ll call my friends right now actually ;) Best wishes for an Autumn 22 filled with friends.

How does the
DESIGNPROCESS work?
The design process has been turned upside down since the world closed down, but we are slowly learning new ways to work. The design world is constantly changing and looking for new ideas and so are we. Read along to learn about how the ZOEY designs comes together.
2. Colors and marerials We are so fortunate to have amazing suppliers that feed us with materials where we would normally travel and find it ourselves. We source a lot of inspiration before the design of actual items begin.
1. Trendspotting and research The trendspotting job is actually an ongoing process, as we constantly look for inspiration online and in the real world. Slowly the ideas are coming together on the blackboard and color themes and stories are taking shape.
4. Details We live for the details! We know they make or break a design. This season we see a lot of bling in the details. Lovely! 5. Final design sketch When all the details are in place, we sketch it up and request our suppliers to sample it. And viola: a design has come to life.

3. The rough outline We are three designers on the team, and this is one of our greatest strengths. This ensures the collection is versatile and has something to offer all types of women and boutiques. Here a color story for one month is being developed.

A warming Black Currant drink ”The ZOEY girls love a hot drink in the Autumn. This year I bet it will be this delicious and spicy black currant drink that keeps them warm. It tastes like the black currants of the summer, while the cinnamon gives it a twist of Autumn. The lemons add a fresh feeling and the chili gives it that last kick. I think a touch of rum won’t hurt either ;) Enjoy!”
Ingredients • 1 L black currant juice • 3 cinnamon sticks • 8 pcs. of star anise • 1 pcs. of mild chili • 4 slices of organic lemon • 3 slices of organic orange
How to: Warm the black currants in a casserole with cinnamon sticks, star anise, chili, lemon slices and oranges. Leave the drink to draw for about half an hour. Enjoy!

Friends for lunch? TRY A HOT SALAT WITH ROOTS Ingredients Enough for five.
Ingredients for hot salat with roots • 1 kg mixed root vegetables • 1,5 dl. white quinoa • 3 handfuls of your favorite herbs • Approx. 100g. hazelnuts • Fresh thyme • Garlic sprouts • 0,5 dl. tahin • The juice from 0,5 lemon • 1 clove of garlic • 0,5 – 1 dl water • Salt & pepper
Having friends over for lunch? This delicious warm salat goes very well with the cold Autumn weather and saturates very well. Try adding chicken slices or a piece of baked fish and the meal is complete. Enjoy! How to: Peel the different root vegetables and bake them in the oven for approx. 45 min. Roast the hazelnuts in the oven at 200 degrees for 12 minutes. Let them cool down and sort the shells away. Boil the quinoa as the instructions on the parcel. Rinse and chop the herbs. The tahin dressing is made by squeezing the garlic and stirring the tahin, lemon, salt and pepper. Stir in water until the consistency is fluid enough. When the root vegetables are done, crush and arrange them on a bottom of quinoa. Top with fresh herbs, garlic sprouts, thyme, roasted hazelnuts and lastly the tahin dressing.
