Supporting Legacy

THANK YOU

Bridget Woodham • Head of Development

From the moment you walk through the gates at Rangi you belong to a close knit family, bound by common values and shared experiences. This kinship and these pillars form firm foundations from which this wonderful school flourishes.

I also believe it is these foundations which cement a strong sense of purpose amongst our Rangi girls for wanting to contribute positively to society as well as helping generate positive patterns of giving back to our school by the wider Rangi family.

Every year, we encourage our Rangi family to continue building a strong giving culture by inviting them to give back to the school. In 2019, Wide Sky Vision was supported by 566 families and $121,425 was directed towards Rangi’s continued advancement. Seventy one generous people gave to the Annual Giving campaign and with their support, the Rameau grand piano was fully purchased, ten students received financial support to

attend Outward Bound * and

several families were supported during unexpected crises providing stability to families and often allowing their daughters to continue their education at Rangi. These are but a few examples of the wonderful support received from our Rangi whanau.

As well as our immediate community, Rangi continues to build partnerships with local and national businesses through it’s growing sponsorship programme. We are incredibly grateful to have this additional support which allows us to enrich existing programmes and school initiatives.

There are many reasons to support Rangi; whether it is to ensure Rangi continues to have leading facilities, offer enhanced learning opportunities, to help secure Rangi’s future for generations to come, in the case of sponsorship; to build stronger relations within each other’s communities or you simply believe in what we do. Whatever your motivation to give, we are grateful for your support which helps us seize opportunities for Rangi’s continued advancement. The 2019 Giving Report offers us the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the generosity both given and received from within our wonderful Rangi family.

Ngā mihi nui, Bridget.
