RROGA

Felicity Williams • talks about the importance of giving.

The Rangi values underpin everything the RROGA committee does and defines how the committee operates in the community. While all of the values are important, the one that stands out in terms of our constitution and mission statement, is the “G”. Generosity of Spirit — service to others, compassion, tolerance, unselfishness. RROGA endeavours to uphold these values as it oversees the disbursements of monies out into the Rangi community in a way which benefits as many students as possible. During the last financial year $49,510.00 was distributed by way of scholarships, prizes and capital contributions. In this way, the entire RROGA community are not only saying thank you to the education that the school gave us, but also a passionate “make the most of it right now”, to current and future generations of young women.

Leaving a gift in your Will is an opportunity to continue to support Rangi Ruru after you are gone, or to support the school as you have always wanted to but been unable to in your lifetime. Rangi Ruru recognises that many people have already thought of and/or are intending on leaving a gift to the school. We celebrate this generosity through a special group known as the Gibson Circle. We are incredibly grateful to all those who have already given or who recognise the importance of such a gift and have pledged their support. Thank you for your generosity and your belief in what we do.
