Dr Sandra Hastie Principal

Welcome to Rangi Ruru Girls’ School and thank you for taking the time to come and experience all that Rangi Ruru has to offer. I hope that you leave today with a sense of who we are, what we stand for and an understanding of what makes Rangi Ruru the amazing place that it is. At Rangi we understand the importance of connection, each girl being known as an individual but belonging to a family, one that is 132 years old and still holds to the values laid down all those years ago. Our girls are looking forward to meeting you and showing you around our school that they are so proud to be a part of.

Sam Senior 2021 Head of School

Welcome to Rangi Ruru! We are so excited to have you here and I know you are in for a treat. Being at Rangi since Year 9, I really have lived and breathed the Rangi spirit and know just how special this place is. The opportunities available here are out of this world, but more importantly, so are the people who have been so willing to go above and beyond to help me develop and grow into the person I am today. I encourage you to speak to one of our lovely girls throughout the day and wish you all the best for the exciting time ahead.
