Kia Ora and welcome to Rangi Ruru! I am Georgia Rumball, the Head of School for 2024, and I am so excited to share with you all what it means to be a Rangi Ruru girl.

Since the day I started in Year 11, my experience has been nothing short of incredible, and I can’t wait to share that with you and your family.

The strongest aspect of Rangi Ruru is its ability to foster young girls’ individual passions and strengths. Everyday we are supported to grow into kind mana wāhine, no matter what we choose to pursue, and we receive endless support from our teachers and peers.

My biggest tip would be to immerse yourself in everything the school has to offer, to push yourself to try new things and move beyond your comfort zone. I can’t wait for you to experience the vibrant love and positivity this school has. Never hesitate to come and find any students around the school for a smile and a chat.

THE RANGI RURU GRADUATE PROFILE

EQUIPPING STUDENTS FOR A FULFILLING FUTURE

Life is unpredictable. While we never know exactly what challenges and triumphs lie ahead of us, research shows there are certain skills and behaviours we can learn and practise that will help us thrive.

These skills and dispositions are highlighted in the Rangi Graduate Profile. This aspirational profile applies these essential

Encompassing the Rangi Ruru Values and four school pillars, the profile outlines the skills and dispositions which help students develop these core strengths across all aspects of hauora, social, pastoral, academic, spiritual, emotional and co-curricular aspects of learning and development.

This profile helps provide a framework for all our students to become people who know themselves and their place in the world.

School life is underpinned by a set of core values which support the school pillars and aims of the graduate profile.
