New Delhi, Jan 12: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has asked the people to fight religious fanaticism asserting that true religion cannot be the basis of hatred and division. Narcotic substances recovered in Pulwama: 1 arrested
Srinagar, Jan 12: Pulwama police recovered about 30 kgs narcotic substances from a residential house at Larve Kakapora. Acting upon a specific information, a police party from police post Kakapora searched a house belonging to Muzaffar Ahmad Hajam son of Ali Mohammad Hajam. During the search police recovered 19 Kgs Bung Patri, 11 Kgs Poppy Straw, 950 gms Charas Powder from the house. The accused was arrested. Srinagar, Jan 12: Prof. Saifuddin Soz president Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) on Sunday said that he is not sure about pre-poll between Congress and its alliance partner National Conference for forthcoming Parliamentary or Assembly elections and any decision in this regard will be taken by the Congress high command in Delhi, off course, after analyzing the ground reports. Soz was addressing a function held in Hotel Broadway here where some prominent political figures like Mohammad Yaqoob Vakil.
