Srinagar, Jan 16: Police have arrested three drug peddlers from Safakadal area of Srinagar city and were identified as Abdul Majeed Ganai son of Ghulam Qadir Ganai resident of Pampoosh Colony Safakadal, Muhammad Rafiq Kaloo son of Abdul Rehman Kaloo resident of Rakh Colony, Safa Kadal and Shabir Ahmad Dar son of Ali Muhammad Dar resident of Nasrullah Pora Budgam. “110 Tablets of Stimat (prachloro parazine), 90 Tablets Alprax (Alprozome) and 26 very small packets of contraband substance which apparently seems to be Brown Sugar (Di-Acetyl Morphine) wrapped in crude paper were recovered from their possession”, the official said. “All the three youth were also under the influence of drugs”. “A case FIR No. 06/2014 U/S 21 NDPS has been registered against the arrested youths in Police Station Safakadal and investigation has been taken up”, the official added.
