Srinagar, Jan 17 : Fire broke out in the shop of Rayees Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rehman Dar resident of Sagam Kokernag at Naibasti KP Road in the jurisdiction of police station Anantnag, resulting in damage to some computer accessories. Fire brought under control with the help of fire tenders. Fire broke out in the residential house of Nissar Ahmad Sheikh son in law of Haji Mohammad Subhan Shiekh resident of Janglat Mandi, Anantnag. Srinagar, Jan 17: Brown sugar worth Rs 114 Crores was seized by police from a truck coming from Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PAK) to Uri during cross LoC trade on Friday. Srinagar, Jan 17 : Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference has expressed regret over the conspiracy by certain PDD officials to shift the old transformer of receiving station Pampore to some other location. According to a statement issued to KNS, Adv Abdul Rashid Lone, senior general secretary, has said that the said transformer was sent to repair one year back but due to official apathy and hollow claims of the PDD, it remains unreturned till date.This has created inconvenience for the people of the region who are disappointed with the state of affairs.
