《說唱張愛玲》文本選取於張愛玲的作品及文章，以說、唱文章片段，在胡恩威領航下的「進念舞台創新實驗室」當中融合舞台科技與創意，由來自台灣、香港、北京的音樂人和演員作各種聲、演、技實驗創作，把張愛玲的文字立體化，結合科技，以現代說唱形式演繹，是進念舞台創新實驗室繼《追憶逝水年華》及《瞽師杜煥》後，創新形式重現張愛玲經典。
