I want to first say, any character can be easily portrayed as long as you can connect to who they are. You should never have to “change into” anything because you need to find yourself within that character - to find the similarities within the differences. The most challenging role for me was Marie in an indie film, where I played a drug addict and chain smoker. I dug deep for the depression and isolation, but those are the most rewarding roles - the ones that challenge you.”

What are your strong points as an actor? My strong points as an actor would be my ability to connect with any and every person that I meet. This is a trait that recently discovered. It is important while trying to really understand all of the different types of people and how they feel, act and handle daily life. It helps with any character that I am handed. How do you try to improve on your acting skills? I read a lot and explore. Living in NYC is an incredible place for me to find myself and by doing so, I am finding all parts of who I am so that each part can shine through while playing any role. Also, I will never ever stop training! Learning is endless!

“It always seems impossible until its done.” Nelson Mandela Is it true that you have to change yourself in order to be accepted into the entertainment business? I’m not sure if that is true or not, but what I do know is that I will never change who I am in the entertainment business. If I change who I am, then I’m not only lying to myself but to everyone that works with me. Putting up a facade isn’t attractive, but being yourself certainly is! What is some advice that you would give to someone aspiring to become an actor? Make sure you absolutely, 100% love it because it’s damn hard and will consume your life, especially during the beginning

years. Be passionate about your craft and do good work. Take any and all criticism as a gift and just be grateful that someone took the time to tell you their thoughts. Never give up because I do believe that if you put your all into it, it always works out. What sort of acting roles will you be seeking in the future? I am seeking any and all roles in the future. I want to be the most diverse and well rounded actress that I can be. I want to impact all of the audiences around the world through every type of genre. But if I had to chose, my dream role would be Catwoman.

Are you working on any current projects? I am! I’m co-producing, writing and starring in a Web Series called Gen Y. I absolutely love this project, mainly because of the message being told. Also, a couple of indie films that I will be starring in this upcoming fall of 2016. I am excited for all of my projects and for whatever is coming in the future! Instagram:

ongratulations on your new film The Breaking Point, can you tell us more about it? Thank you, and yes The Breaking Point starring William Demeo, Jim Faluter and Joseph Donofrio. A psychological thriller which brings the audience into the decaying mind of a good man pushed over the edge.

How did you prepare for your role? I always use real life past experiences as a guide to get into character, I think about the exact emotion or feelings I felt at that moment in time, I think how was my mood, what did I wear, what was my reactions & from there I develop my character. As an Actress What’s your favorite type of roles to play? I love action, adventure, I love characters, I always have since I

was a kid, dressing up in costumes, bringing them to life, growing up I trained with Susan girard and I started dance, improv & choreography at such a young age. I think a great actor is one who can play many roles, is diverse and shows range. I love to explore and to challenge myself. @Katrina_chiovon

I Am Zain FEATURE Your a busy model, how do you manage to stay fit & healthy on such a busy schedule? Funny you mention that..,, because I have been so busy and luckily since teaming up with @Babaghanouge they have provided me with a daily meal plan that includes a morning Baba juice, that’s full of vitamins, and protein, 3 small meals along with my focused fitness routine it’s been the very trick I need to stay energized throughout my busy days! Acting/modeling can be a challenging career do you ever feel like giving up? Your not kidding, lol it surely is challenging, it pushes you, and yes there’s many days I could give up!! You can’t give up, never give up, my Mom who is an extremely talented artist, @Gheri_Lockwood always told me to follow my dreams, she gave me the key to unlock the wonder of idea, creativity, hope, passion & love! That I could be anything & do anything! Whenever I feel stuck on a concept or which creative path to pursue I call to her, she always gives me the hope I need to keep moving forward & gets my creativity wheels turning! Love that! You love to travel, you have been to over 15 countries and host a travel documentary, where’s your next stop? Yes I do! My favorite hobby, especially if it requires a swim suit on a beach!!
