The history of Jaipur brings forth unique aspects through various backgrounds and mediums in generating the meaning of the urban context. Local arts and crafts, Sculpture, Astronomy & Occult Sciences, are a few layers of unique productions of Jaipur. The site is adjoining the Jawahar Kala Kendra, the ambassador of Art and Crafts in the region. It is a modern model of the urban aspiration regarding arts for the state of urbanism that existed four decades back. The design program serves as an extension to the JKK model, to engage with a larger audience through the medium of art and science.
