Sustainable Development
/ Sustainable development is discussing about that present generations have a responsibility to future generations and the term development clearly present a concept that people need to change our idea of development. The 3 main sustainability pillars Environmental pillars: Environmental pillars refer that human activities have to not disturb the natural cycles more than planetary resilience.
11
Socio-ethical pillar has two main implications: we have to have the same level of resources for future generations, and an equity in the distribution of resources. Economic dimension, which refers to economic practicability of the solutions we propose.
How about sustainable design? // Sustainable design refers the definition of sustainable development, but, there have five simply strategies to make designer easy to analysis products. Resource minimisation: reduce material and energy consumption of a certain product, in every life cycle stage. Low environmental impact selection: select non toxic/harmful resources and renewable and biocompatible resources, in all life cycle phases.
life of the product or intensify its use. Material life span extension: make the materials to last longer than the products they are part o f ( t h ro u g h re c yc l i n g , c o m p o s t i n g a n d / o r incineration). Design for disassembly: facilitate separation of components and materials. However, those strategies are interrelated one another. As the result, designers need to consider which strategy is the priority for the product.
Product lifespan optimisation: extend the service

“Collaborative consumption is not a niche trend, and it’s not a reactionary blip to the recession. It’s a socioeconomic groundswell that will transform the way companies think about their value propositions— and the way people fulfill their needs.” (R. Botsman, R. Rogers, 2010)

The funding of collaborative consumption
The three ordinary models of collaborative consumption which includes PPS, redistridution markets and collaborative lifestyles on the right side. The three type of collaborative consumption have some common isuues as four principle: there are trust between strangers, belief in commons, idling capacity, critical mass(R. Botsman, R. Rogers, 2010). And the another fundamental of collaborative consumption is using goods only when it needed. The reason is that people might have own some tools that they never use, or don’t have the time to do any thing interesting with. Accordingly, people become sharing their goods and re quiring othe rs to give help or exchange. Those elements are impor tant for designing collaborative consumption.

• Pu t ting sys te m f ir s t: W hic h c ollab orative consumption system is suitable for? •Design for changing user behaviour: Transform how to match people's "have" with peple's "wants". •User experience: Share common value and drivers.

Design Scenarios
Concept /// According to Freecycle report, there have oover 9.1 millon items are gif t per year. Nowdays, people have been realised that environmental sustainability becomes more and more important. However, if those recycling items can be redesign, it is possible to enhance more meaning of goods and social benefits. The report from Kuznetsov and Paulos(2010) discussed that "DIY communities suggests that learning, creating and sharing are embedded in ever yday practices and suppor ted by the technologies that bring DIY communities into being ". They said open source and knowledge transform, integrated machines and studio could help them to DIY their works more useful.
The 3D hub create a opportunity to let people to use 3D printe for their design. This is a good simple can be used in DIY communites. In sum up, this is a great opportunity to using the concept of collaborative consumption to DIY communities. Most DIY lover would hope that spend less money to create a products. If they use recycling items to re-do items, it not only improve environmental benefits, but make item become a unique taste. Moreover, the DIY lover can rent their tools for others when they unuse those tools. Creating a new form DIY communit y which improve the existing problem of DIY user. 24

• Over 50% people think nutrition is not easy to understand.
• The text of information show on food label id too small, it is not easy to find the message.
• 53% people cannot really understand the new label (FoP food label).
• Publics seem more care price, taste and brand of food than food label.
• 55% people feels FoP food label not provide enough information.
• Most people thought that they would not change purchase behaviours, just because the food label showed that is unhealthy (e.g. Mars bar, biscuits… etc.)
• People feel that nutrition is too scientific words used.

/// Some participators deem that the price is the most condition for them. The others would depend on the different type of food to decide the priority. Such as even biscuits typically expensive than vegetable, but they would not think price is the significant factor to affect them to purchase even though they put the price in the box, as well as the calories, some food like sweets and biscuit they would care about it, but they still buy it. It is interesting to note that nutrition information seems is not important for them (especially, the aged between 25-28 participants). The nutrition information is located on vegetable and fruits, meat and fish, dairy food and take ways. The sweets, biscuits and drinks are not the options they
would consider the nutrients, even the participant who has lost weight issue. In the what information/elements they really want to know phase, Addition information such as exercise information bought it before, friend recommendation and health advice that do not show on the tradition food label; people would prefer to consider the friend recommendation and bought it before. It needs to underline that exercise information and health advice seem interested for participants; “if there have the information such as how many calories I need to consume after I finished this food could be good.” “Such as this food is good for skin or your heart; that would be great for me.”
