The thing that’s refreshing about the new Tomb Raider film is Alicia Vikanders' performance as Lara Croft.

She portrays Croft as an impulsive young woman who seems to be in over her head but who is determined to beat the odds and any obstacles and dangers thrown her way. Croft isn't the typical heiress and her relationship with her missing father

triggers an emotional connection in all of us. Vikanders' portrayal as Croft is by far one of the most believable cinematic video game protagonist that I have seen in a long time. Lovers of the Tombraider franchise would be impressed by the amazing movie set pieces. The film's backdrop had an identical design straight from the original video game.

Peterson’s passion and love for cars began as a young boy working out of his uncle's garage, where he would spend long hours rebuilding cars. He says if there’s anything his experience has taught him, it’s that customer relationships are built on trust and that "honesty is the best policy".

We had the opportunity to sit down with Jason Peterson, an auto mechanic from Clarkson, Tennessee in the United States. He’s been working at the RAFL Auto Hobby Complex for 2.5 years now, where he says every day brings a new challenge. We were grateful he could give us a moment of time in his busy day to get to know him.

Light Conversion Pre-inspection

As the automotive industry is ever-evolving, vehicles are becoming more technical and complex. The Auto Hobby team is constantly learning and undergoing training on new systems such as Hybrid and Electric Vehicles. For example, this month Jason will be in St Phillips College in Texas for a week to work with automotive manufacturing experts in a classroom environment.

He says the most common repairs or maintenance issues encountered are oil changes, ball joints, brakes, air conditioning and coolant leaks.

If a customer is unsure about their service, or has questions, they're encouraged to call Auto Hobby or bring their vehicle back for further investigation.
