driver to see which one comes out on top! CALLAWAY MACK DADDY 4 WEDGE Callaway have been a long-term player in the golf industry, although not necessarily known for their wedges, but this has all changed with the Mack Daddy 4!
PING G400 MAX DRIVER The first is Ping’s newest release for 2018, the Ping G400 max driver! The improved technology has made this driver the most forgiving club on the market for off centre hits at 9900 g/ cm2 MOI. Simply put, when you hit the ball off-center of the clubface, this particular club resists the clubface twisting and allows your bad shots to be far more manageable! As you can see from the pictures (left), Ping has continued to carry out its dragonfly technology and the turbulators on the crown of the club improves aerodynamic resistance. This Ping G400 MAX also has an adjustable sleeve so you can custom fit your own loft between 9 and 11 degrees. I took this club out for a practice

session with two different shafts to see what all the hype was about, and this club did not disappoint! I was convinced after seeing how consistent it was! I immediately ordered one for myself for the season ahead. For a limited time you can test out our demo versions at the Breckland Pines Pro shop. If you’re still unsure if this is the club for you, use our Sky Trak launch monitor to collect the relevant data, and we can do a comparison against your own
The new and improved technology has allowed Callaway to increase the number of grooves from 16 to 84! When I tested these wedges, I could not believe the amount of backspin you could get with chip shots and pitching. The Bladed head is also particularly unique; its rounded shape frames beautifully behind the ball. And with different grinds available for every skill levels, we expect this new design by Callaway to be a real hit with the golfers at Breckland Pines GC! We have a full range of the Mack Daddy 4 wedges for you to try at the Breckland Pines Pro Shop. -Dean Fairweather

SUMMER IS HERE AND IT’S TIME TO COME OUT OF HIBERNATION. Who is ready to take off their jacket and take in some Vitamin D? Now that summer is here we can start focusing on getting our workouts outside. It is a great time to get things done, whether for just yourself or your family. We all know that we have a limited time to enjoy these rays. So why not learn how to make the most of your time. The Fitness Center has traditional and non-traditional means to get your workout done outside. We are more than grateful that they are open LAKENHEATHFSS.COM||atEase atEase 14 LAKENHEATHFSS.COM 14
24 hours a day, but did you know next to their track, there are tires, stones and a workout frame? The track can be used for multiple purposes. You can walk, jog, or do sprint intervals. Right next to the track there are also bleachers, there you can do step ups, dips or pushups. Next to the bleachers are the tires. I know, they might seem too heavy, but if you can’t flip them up can also use them for “box” jumps. I know it can seem discouraging but lucky for us, there are personal trainers with the Fitness Center
that are here to help us adjust. We were able to meet up with two of the trainers and they gave us a free workout to get your started. (See Sidebar 15 for 15) There are two different goals you try to achieve with this workout. The first one is for time, how long did it take you to complete? The next one is rounds, how many rounds were you able to complete in a set time? If you notice, it rotates between lower body and upper body movements, making this a full body workout.

Yvette Hampton "I like working for the Community Center because it is a way for me to meet other military spouses and show my appreciation for them. As a spouse myself, I know how hard it is to take care of the home front while my Airman is away. The Community Center allows me the ability to service the families of the Armed Forces by offering a wide range of activities for their young ones as well as a place for the teens to be safe while active duty/spouses work or take care of day-today needs. Thank you for allowing me to give back to those families, Page Community Center!"

Do it Yourself:
Stenciled Reverse Canvas
DIY this Stenciled Reverse Canvas with supplies from Arts & Crafts’ very own Crafts Galore Store!
Supplies Needed: • Canvas • Sponge Brush • Stencil • Hobby Knife • Paint • Staple Gun • Wood Stain • Staple Remover • Paintbrush • Painter’s Tape
1
Remove the canvas fabric from the wooden frame by pulling out the staples on the back.
2
Paint or stain the wooden frame.
3
While the frame is drying, paint the background on to your canvas fabric.
4
Once your background is completely dry, your stencil can be taped down using painters tape or any other low-tac tape.
5
Using the sponge brush, dab over your stencil to fill it in. Get creative by moving the stencil around and duplicating your design. Let your canvas dry completely.
6
Using the staple gun, apply the canvas to the back of the frame. Start with a staple in the middle of each side and then continue to fill in the rest of the staples. Be sure to stretch your canvas tight. When stapling, stay close to the inside of your frame. You want to leave room to trim the excess canvas.
7
Using a hobby knife, cut off the excess canvas fabric. Your project is now complete!

While on a Native American Reservation in Wyoming, a wildlife tracker named Cory Lambert (Jeremy Renner) finds the dead body of a girl named Natalie. This reminds him of the loss of his own daughter and he teams up with Las Vegas FBI agent Jane Banner (Elizabeth Olsen) to find her killer. This Murder Mystery thriller is the best one I have seen in a long time. This storyline will leave you guessing and wanting justice for Natalie.
This is the story of Auggie, who has a rare genetic condition which affects his appearance. Because of the surgeries and medical treatments he's received, he has never attended a public school before. As fifth grade approaches, his family decides to enroll him in elementary school. He is afraid of what others may say or do because of his physical difference, but his charisma helps him to gain the acceptance of his peers. I was so inspired by the story and it's themes of compassion and humanity. It really goes to show that what sets you apart can be your biggest strength in such a wonderful way.

"I've been here 2 years and it's been great. My co-workers are amazing, and my position is flexible. I still get to travel and have a job. That's a win win for me."
e’re fortunate to be stationed in such a W scenic region of the UK with close and easy
access to several major parks and nature reserves that offer mountain biking trails for all levels. Before hitting the trails, swing by Outdoor Recreation’s Pedaler Bike Shop for a fantastic range of bikes and accessories at competitive prices. The Python bike and helmet pictured here are both available at ODR but we can also help you with spare parts, tires, tubes, lights, locks, chain head sets and safety gear. ODR can advise you on the right gear for your lifestyle!
ALWAYS BE PREPARED With the warmer months approaching, now is a great time to kit yourself out with everything you’ll need for your outdoor adventures. Have a light rucksack packed and ready to go with water, snacks and essential first aid items in a compact kit. Don’t forget the bug spray!
TACKLE TRAILS SAFELY Remember, helmets are mandatory on and off base, and by law reflective items such as articles of clothing as well as headlights and taillights must be used during hours of darkness.
ENSURE YOUR BIKE IS IN TIP TOP SHAPE Like other vehicles, your bike requires proper maintenance. If it needs some TLC before heading out on the trails, bring it to our certified technician for all repairs big and small.
PLAY IN THE RAIN Don’t let the weather interfere with your plans. Invest in lightweight, waterproof outerwear that’s appropriate for rain, wind or whatever else Mother Nature throws at you! The best mountain bikers ride in all types of weather and the change in terrain/track conditions can be a good challenge.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT Beginners should always practice braking, pedaling while standing and posture thoroughly before trying a new trail. Don’t be too rigid, remain relaxed and move with the bike over the terrain.
HAVE GOALS Time yourself overall but also on sections of trails you find particularly challenging. 36
