Four Summit Challenge
Outdoor Rec will be hiking four mountains this year: the highest points in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas! However many hikes you join us for, we guarantee it will be worth it for the sense of acomplishment and amazing views!
The Challenge kicks off with the Top of Texas hike on March 25-26. Next up will be Wheeler Peak, NM on June 17-19, followed by Mount Elber, CO on July 14-16. The final hike of the challenge will be Humphrey’s Peak, AZ on Sep 22-24.

April - Month of the Military Child
The Defense Department celebrates military children during the month of April. There are more than 1.6 million military children who face many challenges and unique experiences as a result of their parents’ service. 49 FSS will have many child friendly events in April to inlcude an Easter Egg hunt, Mad Hatter Tea Party at the Library, Children’s Carnival, and the Military Youth of the Year Cometition. More details to follow!
