Informative briefing for military members and their spouses. Learn about support services available to you and your family before, during, and after experiencing a deployment or remote tour. Briefing is mandatory for active duty personnel tasked with deployment or an unaccompanied remote tour (365 days). Spouses highly encouraged to attend. Fun at the Farm! The Ranchette is wonderful and they are expanding this years event over what they did last year, which was huge! If you have only one event to go to come to, this one it is incredible. This is an experience your family will never forget. We will meet at the Ranchette at 10am (Saturday) June 24th. Please be there on time to get through all the different stations. Anita Blake who does this for us is part of the military family and this is her way of giving to you. She said the more the merrier so if you have friends you want to come with, bring them along. The Ranchette is on 30 Money street in La Luz, NM. Google Map it for directions. Join us this summer for float trips on the Rio Grande. We’ll go with the flow in inflatable kayaks, soaking up sun and playing in the cool water! Then we will head to Andale in Mesilla, NM for food. Price covers transportation, equipment use, and staffing. Each outing paid for separately.

Mexico’s highest point, Wheeler Peak. Join us as we tackle the 13,000 foot summit of the state Holloman calls home! This hike will be challenging, so experienced hikers only. The trip cost covers gear use, camping meals, and transportation. Age range 16+.

3D Printing Overview
This class will explain 3D printing and the library’s 3D printing program. After this class you will be able to schedule a time for one-on-one training with an instructor to print on the library’s MakerBot machine. A library card/account is required before the start of the class.
The Ahrens Memorial Library at Holloman AFB is stocked with books, DVDs, STEM kits, board games, and audiobooks! The library also offers a wide variety of programs which can help you learn a language, study for your college exams, discover your past through genealogy tools, and much more. Come by to see the programs that the library puts on monthly such as Pre-School Story Time.
