This two-hour workshop walks participants through building their LinkedIn profiles. Participants learn how to create a profile that markets their professional brand, use keywords to attract recruiters, and utilize LinkedIn for skill endorsements and recommendations from their networks.

End of Season Ski Trip

Join ODR for our last ski and snowboard trip of the year! We’ll leave on Friday to enjoy a day and a half of skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area, returning to Holloman on Sunday evening. Cost includes transportation, lift tickets, gear rental or tune-up, and lodging. Meals are not covered. Last day to sign up March 1st.

This two day trip will drop you from 13000 feet above the ground to enjoy a minute of free-fall before bringing you back down to earth. Cost includes lodging, transportation, and the cost of the jump. Meals not included. Last day to sign up is March 3rd.

Top of Texas Hike
March 25–26 • 12 pm • $70
We’re starting off our summit hikes this year with a campout and hike up Guadalupe Peak, the highest point in Texas, at 8,751 feet above sea level! Experienced hikers only. Cost includes transportation, campsite, meals, and camping gear. Last day to sign up March 17.
Four Summit Challenge
Outdoor Rec will be hiking four mountains this year: the highest points in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas! However many hikes you join us for, we guarantee it will be worth it for the sense of acomplishment and amazing views!

3D Printing Overview
March 14 • 5 to 6 pm
This class will explain 3D printing and the library’s 3D printing program. After this class you will be able to schedule a time for one-on-one training with an instructor to print on the library’s MakerBot machine. The Ahrens Memorial Library at Holloman AFB is stocked with books, DVDs, STEM kits, board games, and audiobooks! The library also offers a wide variety of programs which can help you learn a language, study for your college exams, discover your past through genealogy tools, and much more. April - Month of the Military Child
The Department of Defense celebrates military children during the month of April. There are more than 1.6 million military children who face many challenges and unique experiences as a result of their parents’ service. 49 FSS will have many child friendly events in April to include an Easter Egg hunt, Children’s Carnival, and the Military Youth of the Year Cometition. More details to follow!
April Grand Canyon Rafting
We’ll take you down the Grand Canyon for Memorial Day weekend! Expect four days on the river and three nights of relaxation in the gorgeous Grand Canyon. Cost includes lodging, food, rafting permits, camping gear, and transportation. Last day to sign up is April 28.
