TONY MAUDSLEY has signed up to Coronation Street for another year. The Benidorm star plays fan favourite character George Shuttleworth who joined the Cobbles when he took on his late father's funeral business - on the ITV soap and he was very happy to share the exciting news with his fans. Taking to Twitter, Tony revealed he had put pen to paper to appear on the soap until at least mid-2023, with fans thrilled to see him staying.

here is sooooooo much to do in Benidorm, that you get yourself all dressed up to go ‘out out’ and literally have no idea where to go. You’re scanning social media, trip adviser, etc and finding some people love or hate the place you were planning to go and you just can’t make up your mind. It’s stressful! Well I want to share with you an absolute haven that I so happen to frequent on a regular basis. Oasis Beach Club are now opening until 1am every day. This is fabulous news! Oasis Beach Club is a beautiful, white building, right on Levante beach front. The cocktails are incredible! Not one of them is made with any of that premix rubbish and believe me, you really can taste the difference. The team are so friendly and willing to help with anything you need which is just so lovely when

you can’t decide on food or drinks. It was my mums birthday recently and I just didn’t know where to take her. Then it was brought to my attention that Oasis Beach Club now have a jacuzzi on their gorgeous rooftop terrace. Surrounded by beautiful white sofa’s and chill house music! We opted for the sunset Jacuzzi package. It really varies in price, but can be anything from €20 per head as you can have certain drinks or food included if required. Watching the sun set, the staff very kindly played a birthday video on the big screen that I had put together for my mum and it really was such a beautiful touch. The staff went above and beyond to make it a perfect evening. This was a night to remember. We danced the night away in a beautiful setting and I would recommend this to anyone looking to make a night extra special!

appy Days has his own Bar! He's only gone & done it! ... Happy Days 'ar kid! Bargain Loving Brits star Graham Boland - aka 'Happy Days', has finally fulfilled his dream to open his own bar. And the name above the door? Happy Days of course! Located on 'campsite corner' surrounded by, yes you guessed it, Happy Campers, Graham - who has appeared in every single one of the nine series of Channel 5's Bargain Loving Brits - had been eying up the double fronted unit for several months before taking the plunge. And then, in double quick time and with more than a little help from his friends, Graham flipped the derelict dump into a fabulous family friendly fun pub in just two weeks! The opening day was a HUGE success with so many well wishers turning up to toast Graham's success, including fellow Bargain Loving Brits co-stars and even writer and creator of the hit TV series Benidorm, Derren Litten. Aside from his appearances on the telly, Graham is best

The Nicholas Family on Holiday...
M
undomar is an exotic animal park located in the hills of Benidorm and designed for the fun of children, and is great for a family visit. My name is Chris Nicholas from Porthcawl South Wales and with my two small children 6 and 9 visited the park and can only say the kids just loved it.The park has different species of mammals, exotic birds and reptiles with which you can enjoy a great visit, it host different shows these include parrots and exotic birds ,dolphins and sea lions, there is also the chance for extra activites such as swimming with sea lions or have an encounter with dolphins, or photograph you with different animals these do occur and additional charge. At 12.15 and 17.15 you can see the sea lions in action with a cheeky little show that is entertainment for all ages the, their keepers will educate you in the importance of recycling in the ocean and the effects that it has on sea lions the show lasts around half an hour and is fantastic experience if you sit in the front you may come face to face with the sea lions. At 11.15 , 14.30 and 15.30 you can see the exotic birds and parrot shows , where you will visit different parts of the globe to include the amazon rainforest to
see what these cheeky chaps are all about. Here the handlers teach you about the different effects that wild fires have around the world and how it effects there birds a word of warning this can be a little emotional and brought a tear to my eye. Finally the dolphin show these start at 13.30 and 16.30 where you will see the trainers not only educate you on the dolphins but take part of the show it self the only way to describe these dolphins is fantastic acrobats that perform impossible stunt and jumps with their trainers bit of warning if your hot and want to cool down sit in the front and you will certainly get a big splash from the dolphins and this will certainly cool you down. Not forgetting during the visit there is a café and multiple stands for drinks and ice creams, through out the day aswell you will also see different times for pictures whether it be the loris birds, parrots, sealions or dolphins, these pictures are great memories to take home and you pick them up at the very end of the day on the way out. One last note for people who need assistance there is mobility hire available as the majority of this is up hill along with dolphin shaped buggies for the little ones all at a small cost! Enjoy guys...

oniente beach is the largest beach but less crowded than its neighbour Playa Levante in the center of Benidorm, although its occupancy level is high, the entire atmosphere in lively and is a family friendly beach. With an area of about 3.5 km of fine sand and calm waters, this beach is perfect for swimming and to enjoy with the little ones. The beach has very good services and modern facilities including parking, bus stops, umbrellas, showers, toilets, and walkways. You can practice water sports such as water skiing, jet skis, parasailing, scuba diving, there is lifeguard service, ramps and disabled access. Fun
for the little ones on this beach is assured as platforms have water, playground, swings, trampolines, rafts, slides and sports games as well as nets to play beach volleyball. For all its good services and cleanliness of the beach and its waters, Poniente beach is awarded every year with the Blue Flag of the European Union. Along the boulevard it features a wide range of leisure spots and a large number of bars, terraces, restaurants and cafes. And one of the surprises of this beach is that it has fantastic sunsets, so after a perfect beach day, nothing better than sitting at sunset on one of the terraces with a beer or a cocktail to relax before dinner.

What Shall We Do Today?
If you're looking for a day out that won't cost you a lot, then check out the number 10 bus! It runs from Benidorm to Altea, passing through Alfaz del Pi and Albir along the way. One passes by every 20 minutes and each journey costs 1.55c (about £1.30), making it an affordable way to see the local area. Try and have the right money if possible, and remember here in Spain you are curently obliged to wear a mask on public transport. You can catch the number 10 bus anywhere along the Avenida Mediterraneo in Benidorm (that's the road that crosses the resort, one street back from the beach) and also all along the road that heads out of Benidorm, past the Hotels Dynastic, Regente, Melia, Levante, Flamingo Oasis, Mediterraneo and De Loix. These are the towns you'll pass along the way; Alfaz del Pi A typically Spanish village, Alfaz
sits just behind Benidorm and if you choose to get off the bus here, head to the church square where you'll see the 'Pi' from which the town gets its name, a pine tree in the centre of the square, surrounded by sleepy streets and tapas bars. Homeome to more than 100 nationalities, Alfaz del Pi is the most international town in Spain! Market day in Alfaz is on Friday. Albir Albir is the next town to Benidorm, travelling north. Hugely popular with ex-pats, property prices are very high and the beach front is lined with beautiful restaurants and roadside cafes. There's a cricket green/ driving range, an open air archeological museum, and a lovely walk up to the lighthouse; simply follow the path from the end of the beach; the views are fantastic and there and back takes about two hours -just remember to take water! Altea Along the coast a little further is the beautiful fishing town of Altea, and a maze of steep narrow streets head to the domed church on top of the town, where you can enjoy spectacular views all along the coast and back to Benidorm. On summer nights Altea is a tourist magnet and an artist's dream ... with stalls displaying arts and crafts and oozing Bohemian vibes, a holiday must for sure! From Altea the bus begins its return journey to Benidorm and rememeber, if you get off the bus anywhere along the way, you'll need to catch the return bus from the opposite side of the road.

he sun is shining and Benidorm is in full swing! With tourism back and so many activities to choose from, where do you start?? The cable ski is an absolute must. It’s one of a kind here in Europe and to have it right here on our doorstep, what’s stopping you? You can pay anything from 20 euros, depending on: How long you want to ski, Whether you use skis, wake board, surf board, etc. So you pay at the hut you can see right in front of the cable ski on the beach, then you walk across to the cable ski in the sea. Yes walk! The sea level is so low as that part of the beach is man made, it’s easy to take the whole family with you. In fact, you should definitely go with someone who isn’t up for skiing, as they can sit on the pontoon and take lots of pics and vids for you. Especially the ones of you falling off! Half of the fun is walking across the see to get there, balancing your bags on your head and trying not to drop anything whilst getting the giggles. We got so many strange looks from swimmers that we couldn’t stop laughing. However if you do go alone, then don’t worry, as there’s a speed boat there with a photographer, where you can buy the photos from when you’re finished. I went with two friends Lynsey and Chris. We spent the whole two hours laughing our heads off. Lynsey couldn’t even get off the platform and Chris got so annoyed with not being able to grasp it, that he ended up taking one of the kids boards and going around on his knees. The laughs we had are memories made forever. I will never forget that day. Ever. When you fall off, the speed boat comes and picks you up and takes you back to the pontoon to start again. So even if you can’t get round from start to finish on your skis, at least you will of had a lovely boat ride haha! If you want to take it slightly more serious, then there is a ski school you can attend to really get to know exactly how to grasp it. Who knows? It could be you doing back flips off the ramps this summer 😉 The cable ski is open every single day in the summer from 1.30 - 5.30pm. Go and check it out!...

The Mediterranean Diet

f you’re looking for a hearthealthy eating plan, the Mediterranean diet might be right for you. The Mediterranean diet incorporates the basics of healthy eating — plus a splash of flavorful olive oil and perhaps a glass of red wine, among other components characterizing the traditional cooking style of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Most healthy diets include fruits, vegetables, fish and whole grains, and limit unhealthy fats. While these parts of a healthy diet are triedand-true, subtle variations or differences in proportions of certain foods may make a difference in your risk of heart disease. The diet has been associated with a lower level of oxidized low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol — the “bad” cholesterol that’s more likely to build up deposits in your arteries. In fact, a meta-analysis of more than 1.5 million healthy adults demonstrated that following a Mediterranean diet was
associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular mortality as well as overall mortality. The Mediterranean diet is also associated with a reduced incidence of cancer, and Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases. Women who eat a Mediterranean diet supplemented with extra virgin olive oil and mixed nuts may have a reduced risk of breast cancer. For these reasons, most if not all major scientific organizations encourage healthy adults to adapt a style of eating like that of the Mediterranean diet for prevention of major chronic diseases. The mediterranean diet emphasizes: Eating primarily plant-based foods, such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes and nuts. • Replacing butter with healthy fats such as olive oil and canola oil. • Using herbs and spices instead of salt to flavor foods. • Limiting red meat to no more than a few times a month. • Eating fish and poultry at least twice a week. • Enjoying meals with family and friends. • Drinking red wine in moderation (optional). • Getting plenty of exercise. • Fruits, vegetables, nuts & grains.
