Slicer’s Corner

Greetings to our Road Atlanta VIP guests! I hope that all of you had a safe and trouble-free journey home. Ideal weather conditions, phenomenal on-track racing, and fascinating guest speakers made for a memorable 2023 MotoAmerica Superbikes at Road Atlanta.

In my mind, there was no doubt that five-time Superbike champion Cameron Beaubier’s return to Moto America was going to bring excitement to the Medallia Superbike class, but to go out and, in the first race on the Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR, Cam beats his former teammate and current MotoAmerica Superbike champion Jake Gage by a mere .340 of a second. WOW! Then, add in Josh Herrin’s first ride on the Warhorse HSBK Ducati taking third, only made for a showdown for Sunday’s race 2. And, what a showdown that was! I hope those who were able to get down on the Superbike pre-race grid and Superbike podium can appreciate how accommodating and unique our racers are in allowing us to get up-close and personal with them. Can you believe 190 miles per hour on the back straight? That is crazy fast! It was an amazing race, and this was only one of the six classes that race on both days.

In this book, we have assembled a selection of event images and candid photos of many of you our special guests at Road Atlanta. I hope you enjoy this book as much as you did your experience at Road Atlanta.

H-D Screamin’ Eagle’s Kyle Wyman was unstoppable in both of the two Mission King Of The Baggers races. While defending champion Tyler O’Hara, on the Indian Motorcycle/Progressive/Mission Foods-backed Challenger rider took 2nd on both days. Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson’s Hayden Gillim earned a hardfought 3rd in Saturdays race and 4th in Sunday’s race.

Kyle Wyman and his Screamin Eagle Harley Davidson is undefeated in 2023, with his win at Daytona and doubling down at Road Atlanta, clearing puts Kyle in the lead for the MotoAmerica King of the Baggers Championship, next round will be at Road America on June 2-4, 2023

Medallia Superbike podium race 2, was another thriller, Jake Gage, Cameron Beaubier and Mathew Scholtz enjoy the podium with our VIP guest and MotoAmerica umbrella girls.
