National CLAS Standards: What are they and why are they important REGISTER HERE The enhanced National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Health Care are issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Office of Minority Health (OMH) to advance health equity, improve quality, and eliminate health care disparities by establishing a blueprint to implement culturally and linguistically appropriate services.
