Breeding and herdsire development is years in the making. Matching up the bloodlines to maximize efficiency, developing a clientele and the relationships with them to foster trust and honesty, sourcing feed and the proper nutrition to develop these genetics with the customers bottom line always in mind. All this is factored into consideration…. Welcome to the Stockman’s Choice bull sale. This event is our annual occasion to invest in you, our customer. That’s right, we’re investing in you. It is more than a bull or female transaction on February 17th, it is the foundation for a partnership. After all, at Diamond T Cattle, we “Stand Behind our Cattle and Beside our Customers.” Let’s talk a little about the offering. To say we are proud of the group selected is an understatement. Each and every animal has been selected, developed and bred for this particular sale. Traits like fertility (bulls that semen test @ 10-12 months of age and females that are productive breeders), longevity (we have a strong repeat buyer contingent as our bulls last for many years), and structural correctness are all basic fundamentals in our breeding program. Creep feed is not an option for these cattle as the bull pastures are annually in close proximity to wildlife and land that spans over 2000 acres, it’s just

not feasible or profitable. Combine this with our dedication to the development of the bulls in a ranch mentality; we feel that these cattle are fresh conditioned, honestly grown and ready for their next chapter in life. Now, the day of the sale, it doesn’t start until 2:00pm MST so get your chores done up in the morning and come over for some great Gardner & Smith hospitality. There is a reason we are all healthy looking! The bulls and heifers will be displayed in pens close to the majority of dams and herdsires to give you the sense of our genetics. Cattle Inspection All carry permanent identification and sale tags corresponding to sale lot numbers. All animals shall be available for inspection prior to sale. Breeding Guarantee All cattle are sound and right , and all with a responsible breeder guarantee of satisfaction. Ownership risk to purchaser commences when the Auctioneer’s gavel falls. Livestock coverage will be available on sale day, from the sale management at any time.

Terms of Sale Are cash or cheque at par, payable to clerks of the

sale on sale day. U.S funds will be accepted at the current rate of exchange. No release will be given until satisfactory settlement has been made. The seller reserves the right to withhold animals from export shipment (foreign or domestic) for whom payments have not been received prior to departure times.

Right to Semen The sellers reserve the right to collect semen on any bull sold through this sale. The semen collection will be at the sellers’ expense and the buyer’s convenience. Any semen collected will be for the sellers’ in herd use only. Delivery The sellers will deliver bulls to central points in Western Canada and will assist with trucking to Eastern Canada and USA. Bring your own trailer and the sellers will deduct $150/bull off the purchase price for bulls taken home on sale day. Sight Unseen Purchase Plan We would like you to attend our sale, but if you cannot, you can have Brody personally handle your purchase. You know what you want in your breeding animals, we know best the potential of the bulls on offer and will easily be able to satisfy your specific needs. Call him with your specifications and discuss the offering, preferable a week before the sale. Brody will gladly assist you with you selections and represent you on sale day.
