Cheetah’s Body

This is a cheetah’s cutaway.

Cheetah’s have an very interesting body. They have a specialized muscle built for speed. There liver, lungs, and heart is all super sized, so that they

can breath a lot of oxygen. That is why they can run 70 miles an hour. So the body structure of the cheetah is helping the cheetah live.

Cheetahs Body Cheetahs are just made for hunting. Their golden coat with black spots, help them blend in with the tall grass, so their prey wouldn’t notice the cheetah before they attack. That is the main reason they success half of their attacks.

Life Cycle of Cheetahs

This is a helping cheetah campaign.

Adult cheetahs are mature after 20 to 24 months. That means they can start breeding after 20 to 24 months. They also can breed anytime of the year. Cheetahs can give birth to 3 to 7 cubs at a time. Then the dad goes away and the mom raises the cubs until the cubs can survive by them selfs. After that , the mom would go find another male and would breed again.

Life Cycle Of Cheetahs Cheetah cubs are very interesting. Cheetah cubs are usually born within 3 months. When they are born, they have a mantle at there back, but as they grow up, the mantle disappears. After 5 to 6 weeks of being born cheetahs start to hunt along with their mom. Then they become adults, and the life cycle starts again.

Cheetah Hunt

Cheetah’s are carnivores. They mainly eat gazelles, because they are the most common animals in Africa. They also catch gazelles, because they got plenty of meat for a cheetah. And they taste very good according to a cheetah’s taste.

Cheetah Hunt

This is cheetah hunting .

Cheetah’s are one of the most fearful hunters on Africa. There chases are each up to 20-60 seconds, but only half of them are successful. They kill there prey by biting there neck until their prey dies. After one chase, cheetahs temperature can reach up to 41 Celsius. Then it would take the cheetah about 20 minutes to cool down to the normal temperature. The reason that they’re temperature goes this high, is because they run about 70 miles an hour. That means they can run nearly two kilometers an hour. They try really hard to catch a prey. That is why they are one of the most fearful hunters of Africa.

Cheetahs Habitat There are two continents where Cheetahs exist. One of them is Asia, and the other one is Africa. Cheetahs live in place’s based on what kind of terrain the land is. So that is why most of the cheetah’s live in Africa, because in Africa, there is lot’s of open land with tall grass and few streams. In Asia, there is not that many. Cheetahs in Asia only live in Iran. But only 50 live in Iran. That is because people are destroying there habitat. And further more, they might get extinct in the future.

Cheetah’s Habitat

Cheetah s only live in places where it is open, such as biotope, semidesert, prairie, and thick brush, though it can be found in a variety of habitats grasslands, savanna's, and areas of dense vegetation, and mountainous terrain where there is a lot of prey for them. They live on open land, because cheetah s move their habitat every day. They live in a place where there is a lot of prey, because or else, they would starve to death. The habitat terrain kind for cheetah s are very important.
