Other notable new partnerships include the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (140,000 clients served); the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (22,000+ employees across the Philadelphia region); and the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team (public service announcements and voter registration hubs at multiple games before the election, plus attendance at “Party at the Polls” locations in Philadelphia on Election Day).

We launched a groundbreaking partnership with global law firm Morgan Lewis.

Through this first-of-its-kind civic collaboration, Morgan Lewis gave C70 memberships to lawyers in its Philly office as part of its WeVote partnership. We worked with firm leadership to schedule a pre-election meet-and-greet between Morgan Lewis members and C70’s Former President & CEO, Al Schmidt. Following the election, our policy team presented Morgan Lewis with an analysis of the new political landscape in Philadelphia and Harrisburg. Plus, Morgan Lewis team members received our weekly newsletter and exclusive invitations to member programming.

“As lawyers, in particular, we have a special civic duty to participate in elections and engage in civil professional discourse. The Committee of Seventy really was the key place for us to get nonpartisan information and resources. Being part of the membership really impacted our attorneys, and more so than I would have expected. We heard from people that they felt much more informed, and they felt energized about voting.”
