SANAA Architecture studio by Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa SANAA is a multiple award-winning architectural firm based in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 1995 by architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, who were awarded the Pritzker Prize in 2010.
Makers, they are a group of people that are creative, smart and knowing how to combine technology and interesting idea. In American old movie, garage in the back yard is a place that full of idea and making dream come true.

Concept
I have three concepts that all match with the site , design department and the idea of future living. In the concept “Blossom” , I break the middle of a box and try to explode the single unit out.It means the students major in design are always full of energy and explode themseleves. Also , These students in Wufeng are brighter than others.They are just like flowers in the leaves. Shine and beautiful. The second concept,Mutualism,came from Wufeng.Wufeng is combined with mountain,little house and human culture.And the students major in design always care for each other because that is the only way to survive in this environment. In the movie “ready player one” ,Wade Watts (main character)lives in a building that folded by container.And the story is set in 2045 ,perfectly told the idea of future living style in my head.

I pull the single unit out, just like container between the structure.I want to express the living form in the movie “ready player one�.Between units, there’s many little social space appear, most of them are for 1 to 2 person.And these little space will be the best thinking place for those students who stuck in there design. People will be attracted by the gap in the middle. And that’s away from the single unit .From single unit to the gap ,From private to public.

Because of the entresol is a big two-in-one box.When it shows on the elevation, it looks just like jumping box.

From 7th to 10th floor, social space transform to another form.They become bigger and more people could use it at the same time.
