遇見設計之後
Life After Learning Design A question opened a new world of my life. "Why don't you go to study visual communication?" my friend's mom asked me when she saw my works. I didn't know what is visual communication then. However, after looking it up on the internet, I fell in love with design immediately. Three years ago, I decided to change my life direction. On the way of learning design, I like to try new things, using different kinds of materials to create interesting works. In this portfolio, I have used mirror, cellophane, stitch, and Japanese paper to do my works. Observing the beauty of life is one of my hobbies. Whether is light and shadow rough material or the reflection on the bubbles……, no matter how small the beauty scene is, I just cannot hold to take a photo of the fabulous view. Hoping I can be more sensitive with the beauty of life in the future, and use these pretty views to create new works.
�言 /Preface On the way of learning design, I have met many enthusiastic dreamers. They all have great influence on me. I received lots of help from them. Not only receiving the knowledge of design but also getting the courage of pursuing dream. A year ago, I met teacher Anna, she spent her spare time to discuss my portfolio with me, the discussions always take one to two hours. The teacher in graduated school, Fei-fan teacher, he always spends two to three hours discussing creative ideas with us. Furthermore, I also learn a lot from plenty of companies and designers who had held design workshop before, countless senior brother and sister at school, and peer that work together all help me a lot. Moreover, unconditional support from my parents always helps me a lot when I was very sad. On the way of my dream, I met lots of guardian angels, hoping one day, I can be the one who has the ability to help others pursue their dreams.

NMMST
National Museum of Marine Science and Technology is a venue of marine science. Therefore, the graphic design combining the container and ocean together, symbolize the abundant marine science knowledge in the museum. Three-shades of waves colors, from light to dark, indicate the color of the ocean; also conveys three goals of the NMMSTknowing, loving and protecting the ocean.

Blossom Wonderland is a fabulous place full of flower. Hoping all the audiences can enjoy these beautiful pictures. Using the double-sided acrylic mirror and Japanese paper to create the visual identity of Blossom Wonderland. I used mirror to make a kaleidoscope, and I putted paper in front of it to create a beautiful view.

Owing to let audiences enjoy various kinds of flowers, I used four complementary colors in the color scheme of this exhibition. Furthermore, I used complementary colors to design flower-shaped stickers. Audiences can use these stickers to create their own unique blossom wonderland.

Shake-head curry is a mixed style curry restaurant, not only selling Japanese curry but also Indian cur-ry. The primary color is tangerine, which is similar to the color of curry. To attract the young generation, the identity is young and active.

燈 咖啡館 Li g ht i ng C afe
Lighting cafe is a warm place. It won't be clos-ed until 3 a.m. Lighting cafe provides a warm secret place for people who still need to work at midnight. In the logotype, there is a circle at the beginning and the end of the stroke, and the various stroke thickness express the warmth of lighting cafe. Logotype combines with bulb graphic to correlate with its name- lightning. The primary color is cocoa, cocoa can show the feeling of calm and warmth.

National Chung Cheng University is a big campus. I studied at Chung Cheng University for four years, and I found out that lots of people will get lost in this big campus. To solve the problem, I draw a map. The map shows the route of all the teaching buildings. Using cadmium yellow to reveal the real color of the building. Hoping this map can help freshmen to find their way in this big campus.

Yu- Shan zine was made soon after we met. She was very confused about herself then. Therefore, I named the photo book as Hi. Hi, not only represents we just met but also represents she was interacting with herself. Layout and conversation of the photo book both show the main concept, exploring yourself.
