Mies was criticized by lots of people because of the house's privacy, icluding Farnsworth herself. The privacy problem bothered her when she lived in the house. But when I studied this case, I had different thinking. The site was surrounded with trees and river that gived Mies some space to do this. In this tiny house, Mies put two bathroom in it. ( ) I thinked he wanted to separate the private and public space and it clearly showed that mies was care about privacy. So I start to study the privacy of Farnsworth house.

In left data, I pick four viewpoints in the circle which is 30m away from the center of the house. Trying to find where is the private space (or called comfort zone) in the house. I also analyze what makes the privacy in the house. Is furniture? Is fixed? And which part I can use or move so that I can create more private space?
