Ian, age 12, lives in Detroit. He likes to write because it’s an easy way to let out his thoughts without having to have a conversation. In addition to writing, he enjoys swimming. Listening to others’ ideas and thoughts inspires Ian’s writing. He also likes writing because you can take inspiration from the world around you and use it to create new ideas, worlds, or pretty much anything you can think of. The Story of William the Abnormal Cat

William is a stray brown and black cat that lives in New York. William would love to be domesticated and loved. The thing is, William is very unenergetic and not very emotional. He is constantly adopted by locals in New York, but he is given away all the time because of his low enthusiasm. William is always given to his biggest enemy: the Humane Society! William is not a normal cat because of the Humane Society. The Humane Society gave him powers by experimenting on William. His ability is that he can teleport to any place in the world, but a special serum is always given to William after his capture. So he is limited to one use of his ability for a few hours. William’s life is a cycle that won’t stop spinning. This time, William is going to try a new strategy. He is going to teleport to a new location this time. Petco would be the best place to go. William’s plan will most likely secure him freedom. William arrives at Petco using his one teleport. After a few seconds of a loud whirring noise, William is inside of the nearest Petco. He walks stealthily to the back of the store and hides. William is shivering in anxiety hoping he will not get caught. He gets startled when a sliver of air brushes his smooth, silky fur. After a few hours of hiding in Petco moving from bathrooms to custodian closets, his powers are finally back and they are able to be used in full effect. Now William’s plan is in phase two. Phase two of William’s plan is to cause as much of a ruckus as possible to give him enough time to escape and get the Humane Society to help the people at Petco. After that, William will teleport into the Humane Society and infiltrate it from the inside. William cannot teleport straight to the Humane Society or they will track him as soon as he teleports, but if a distraction is happening while he is teleporting, he has the best window to take down and expose the Humane Society. William teleports to the supply room, hoping no one is there. He stands up on his hind legs, trying to open
