Purchase of school bag for pupils If you intend to purchase a new school bag for your child, we would like to emphasise that it is important to consider the weight of the school bag. Please do not buy a trolley bag. We have observed that pupils find it difficult to carry trolley bags up the staircases. It would be advisable to encourage your child to carry a bag which is not too big or heavy as he or she would then learn over time, and with support from your end, to carry only the essentials to school. 11.
