Updates on Sports and Games Tournaments
S/No Game 1 Floorball Nationals
Info The Junior Boys team won 4 matches and has qualified for the semi-finals.

Netball North Zone Tournament
The Junior Girls team won 5 matches and has qualified for the semi-finals.

Basketball Nationals
Both the Junior and Senior Boys have completed their matches. They achieved the 16th position.

Table Tennis
3 of our pupils participated in the competition. Though they did not win any title, they have gained valuable experience. The students are (a) Marcus Tan Yi Hao (Pri 3 Excellent) (b) George Soo Jia Hui (Pri 5 Excellent) (c) Grace Soo Han Yu (Pri 6 Champion) (d) Charis CPang Wei Ting from Pri 3 Barvo participated in 2 Table tennis competitions and attained 2nd runner up positions for both competitions
2. Use of School Smart Cards (SSC) for Concessionary Travel – Primary One students Please note that your child was issued the above mentioned card. Students are required to activate the SSC at the Ticket Office / Passenger Services Centre located in MRT Stations/ Bus Interchanges by topping-up the value for the card before it can be used for concessionary travel. The minimum top-up value is $5.00. Please do check to ensure that the photo and details printed on your child’s SSC is correct upon receipt. Do inform the school immediately if there is any discrepancy. 3. Mid-Year Examination dates for P3 – P6 students Details pertaining to the confirmed exam dates and paper format as well as table of specifications are attached for your information. P1 Registration Survey (Intention of parents in registering sibling in Anchor Green Primary School) The notification regarding the above mentioned was sent out last week through all the students. Please complete the relevant sections of the form prior to returning the form through the student’s form teacher. This includes a NIL return even if you do not have any child eligible for Phase 1. 4.
Please note that you will need to submit the form to the school duly completed indicating your intention even if you are considering the option of another school for the child entering P1 next year. In cases where you may have more than 1 child already studying in our school, please complete only 1 return and on the other child’s form, please indicate that you have already submitted through the older sibling. We seek your kind understanding on this matter.

Parent Teacher Conferences. There will be no school for students
School vacation from 1 June – 30 June. Pupils report to school on 1 July 6. School Health Visit by Health Promotion Board (HPB) The annual school health visit for pupils will be conducted from 20/5/13 to 31/5/13. A schedule on the classes’ allocated date and time-slot will be given in due time. Students are to be in PE attire on the day his/her class is scheduled. Please note there is no health screening on 24/5/13 which is Vesak Day as it is a Public Holiday. The HPB letter concerning this health screening is attached with this bulletin for your information. In addition, P1 and P5 students have been issued the following documents: - a booklet containing the Medical Information Form (for P1 students only) - Immunization Consent Form (for P1 students only) - Immunization Consent Form (for P5 students). Please fill up all required fields, date and sign the Forms. All forms to be submitted to the Form Teacher by 26 April, Fri. 7. School Family Education Programme Books on parenting and family matters are available in our school library for parents to loan for reading. You may loan a maximum of 2 books at one go through your child’s EZ Link Card. Please return loaned books to our school Library within 2 weeks through your child or yourself. Please approach the School Librarian for assistance. Thank you.
