Dear Parents /Guardians Warm Greetings from Anchor Green Primary School! 1. Class Photo Taking Exercise on 29 Jul & CCA Groups Photo Taking Exercise on 31 Jul 2013 We have engaged a photographer for the above mentioned exercises. Students are required to report in school uniform on 29 Jul for lessons. Pupils will have to bring along their PE attire to change into if they have PE lessons on that day. On 31st July, students from the various Co-curricular activities will have their photos taken. Students from P4 to P6 will report in PE attire. 2.

All pupils are encouraged to come in red T-shirt & PE school shorts. Alternatively, PE attire may be worn.
The school will celebrate National Day on 7 Aug. All pupils are to report to school as usual at 7.30 am. Please make the necessary transport arrangements for your child to be picked up after dismissal at 10.15 am. Pupils will bring along a water bottle. Only the two drinks stalls will remain open on the morning. Programme: Observance Ceremony followed by Lower Pri students from P1 – P3 taking part in Lower Pri Sports Carnival while the Upper Pri pupils will have class related activities to commemorate National Day.
In view of unpredictable haze situations, we are unable to accommodate parents as spectators for the Lower Sports Carnival. We seek your kind understanding. Please note: Students will have no school from 8 Aug to 11 Aug. Students will return to school on 12 Aug (Monday). We wish all our Muslim students, parents and colleagues “Selamat Hari Raya, Aidilfitri” and to all others “Happy Holidays”. 3. Fetching children from NASCANS Student Care Centre To ensure the safety and welfare of all students in Anchor Green Primary School, we appeal to parents who have children attending NASCANS Student Care Centre to adhere to the following guidelines: - Should you need to fetch your child prior to the official dismissal time, please report to the Security Guard station to wait for your child to be accompanied out by the teacher from NASCANS. - Should you need to meet the NSACANS teachers, please make a prior arrangement with the staff from NASCANS. Our Security Officers will need you to register as well as collect a visitor pass before gaining entry to the school compound.

A separate schedule has already been issued to parents.
Please note that a separate circular was issued for the dates related to the Performance Assessments for P1 – P4, the Continual Assessment schedule for P5 and the Prelim Exam schedule for P6. 5. GEP Screening Exercise for P3 Students on 23 Aug A circular regarding the above exercise will be issued to all P3 students on 1st Aug for parents to confirm the child’s participation in the P3 GEP Screening Exercise. The test will be conducted during curriculum time. 6. Donation Drive We look forward to active contribution by parents for the fund raising drive through the Walk-a-jog Donation Card that was issued to our students. Your support will go to make the school environment more vibrant for pupil learning in the school upgrading exercise that we will embark in June 2014. We look forward to your active participation with your family members in the Walk-A-Jog cum Family Bonding Day on 9 Nov 2013. We look forward to your continued support and cooperation. Thank you.
