Activity PSLE Written Exam Parents of pupils in P1 – P5 are to note that lessons will continue as usual during the written examination.

Children’s Day celebrations (Students will be dismissed as usual at 1.45 pm) Lessons will run according to the time-table with an hour of celebration time.

Children’s Day holiday (No school) P3 Oral Exam Children will be issued with a detailed notification informing them of the day to stay back to take their Oral Examination in the afternoon. Absent pupils will need valid medical certificate to support reason for absence.

P4 and P5 Oral Exam Children will be issued with a detailed notification informing them of the day to stay back to take their Oral Examination in the afternoon. Absent pupils will need valid medical certificate to support reason for absence.

PSLE Marking Exercise Days (No school for all primary school children as teachers will be involved in the PSLE Marking Exercise duties) Administrative staff will be involved in handling the administrative registration matters for P1 parents of 2014. P1 pupils successfully registered will receive a notification from school for parents to report to buy books, uniform and for administrative matters on 16 or 17 Oct. End of Year Exam (SA2) for P2 – P5 students 22 Oct – EL 23 Oct – Math 24 Oct – MT 25 Oct – Sc 28 Oct - HMT P4 and P5 Inter class Games P1 Drama Nite P6 Inter class Games Day Deepavali Holiday (off-in-lieu ) Marking Day – School Holiday for students Issue of report book to P4 pupils Walk-a-Jog cum Family Bonding Day Meet Parent Session & Issue of report books to pupils Prize Giving Day for Lower Pri students (P1 – P3) (During curriculum hours) All P1 – P6 students will report to school.

Prize Giving Day (P4 – P6) cum P6 Graduation Ceremony Only P4-P6 Prize Recipients and P6 students will report to school P1 Orientation for Year 2014 cohort of Primary 1 pupils

Class Photos

Your child will bring home a Photo Order Form envelope in early October for you to place your orders. All instructions will be given on the printed white envelope. Kindly complete the form, fill in the total number of photos you would like to place orders for and place the exact amount into the envelope. Seal the envelope securely and return the sealed envelope to the Form Teacher on 7Oct (Mon).

Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) for 2014

The above scheme is only meant for Singaporean students only.

A leaflet will be distributed to your child through the Form Teacher. For new applicants, Application Forms are available from the General Office for collection from next week onwards.

For current students on Financial Assistance Scheme for 2013, the school will send the Application Form through your eldest child for you to apply for the year 2014, as the application is on a yearly basis.

Please complete and submit the Application Form together with supporting documents and return to the General Office latest by 18-Oct (Fri) for your application to be processed in time. Please do not buy books or uniforms prior to the approval of your FAS application. No refund or reimbursement would be possible in this case.

You will be informed of your application status before the school closes on 15-Nov. Successful applicants for FAS will be able to collect books and uniforms in mid-December 2013.

Current P6 pupils going to Sec 1 in 2014 can apply at our school only after the PSLE results are released in November 2013.

4.

Year-End School Holiday

Please note that the year-end holiday begins on 16 Nov 2013. The new academic year will start on 2 Jan 2014 (Thursday).

PSLE Results Release Date

The PSLE Results Release date is on 21 Nov 2013 at 12.00pm. All P6 pupils are to report to the school hall in school uniform. Secondary school registration will be from 21 Nov to 27 Nov 2013.
