Partnerships, collaboration and engagement is one of the Faculty’s four strategic objectives. The Faculty has been pursuing partnerships with relevant stakeholders with a two-fold objective in mind. First, partnerships, collaboration and engagement across various sectors of society are important to how we prepare students for the world of work. In this regard, the Faculty has established a Faculty Advisory Board comprised of relevant internal and external stakeholders who engage in discussions on the curriculum and professional mentorship. Second, partnerships are necessary to enable the Faculty to be a “Faculty of Impact” across the social, economic, political and technological spheres of society. Several units in the Faculty have established partnerships with government, corporate and civil society organizations. These partnerships facilitate collaborative engagements with a view to finding workable solutions to societal problems.
