Our home, the beautiful and historic Zeiterion Theatre in the heart of downtown New Bedford, provides the perfect setting to enjoy the new season filled with music of all kinds, exquisite dance and breathtaking artistry that will inspire and entertain. Before he attained national fame for his role as Will Schuester on Glee, Matthew Morrison was a Tony-nominated Broadway leading man appearing in Hairspray, Light in the Piazza, and South Pacific at Lincoln Center. One of the UK’s foremost dance theater companies, Motionhouse creates startling, passionate dance theater, fusing images and mesmerizing aerial action that surprise, challenge and delight. Scattered explores our relationship with water and how it surrounds us in different forms throughout our lives as seven dancers plunge into an ocean, wrestle a raging tide and slide on an avalanche to a frozen landscape of arctic beauty. Performed on a huge curved floor, which disappears skywards, and using projection technology, daring dancing plus aerial harnesses and bungees create an extraordinary world in which the dancers move seamlessly in a jaw-dropping interaction between film and live performance.

Each year, The Z provides performances, workshops, and in school residencies by nationally-recognized artists to more than 36,000 school children and teachers from communities throughout the south coast. The programs occur during regular school hours and support the curriculum by providing engaging learning experiences that enhance studentsâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; knowledge, creativity, and learning skills, as well as expand their understanding and appreciation of the world of the performing arts. Fold and mail to The Z in a standard envelope. Box Office Hours Tuesday–Friday 10am–5pm Saturday 10am–3pm The box office opens two hours before show time on performance days and remains open through intermission. The Z accepts the following for ticket purchases: Cash, Checks (payable to Zeiterion Theatre), Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express Service Fees For ticket orders on-line and by phone there is a $3.50 per ticket convenience fee. All orders are subject to a $5 order fee. Phone orders Tickets ordered by phone up to seven days prior to the event will be mailed. Tickets ordered less than seven days prior to the event will be held at Will Call.
