Friends and family, As you know, the past seven years of my life have been dedicated to serving children with disabilities along with their siblings and parents at Watermark Community Church. This year, I have felt the Lord’s leading to leave the education field and move into fulltime disability ministry. I am thrilled to tell you that I have accepted a position to work with 99 Balloons, a non-profit organization in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the start of October. 99 Balloons’ was established ten years ago with the mission to build inclusive communities so that every person with disability and their family can live a full life within relationships. Currently, their staff consists of three full- time employees, and due to immense growth in recent years, Matt Mooney, their Executive Director and Co-Founder, has asked me to partner with them in order to change the story of disability locally and globally. For such a time as this, the Lord has prepared my heart to be ready and willing to go and serve Him in this capacity. Locally, I will be consulting with churches across our country to help them implement disability ministry as well as providing respite care through rEcess. Along with the 99 Balloons staff, I will help develop tools for teenagers and adults as that piece of ministry is missing in most churches. Â

Globally, 99 Balloons is working with partners in Uganda, India, Haiti, and Nicaragua with a focus toward special education and providing schools with the tools and education to serve individuals with special needs in their community. While 99 Balloons currently has four global partner, they hope to expand to more countries in the future. In preparation for this job, the Lord is pushing me to step out in great faith as I have committed to raise my entire salary of $50,000 for the upcoming year. The $50,000 will cover my salary for twelve months, health insurance, benefits, and employee taxes. With great humility, I would love to invite you to be part of the Lord’s financial provision for this next chapter of my life. I feel honored to be chosen by the Lord to equip the church to serve and care for persons with disabilities.
