The Feldenkrais® Method of somatic education is a gentle systematic process of self-exploration, a means to improve the kinesthetic sense and refine one’s self-image. These small movements done without force pay huge dividends in stress reduction, relief from pain and repetitive stress injury, and overall improved self-organization for effective action – doing the things you love and need to do with greater ease and comfort. The method is highly valued by musicians and performers. Anyone of any age can benefit, tapping into their own bodies innate capacity to reorganize toward greater health, balance, comfort, autonomy and creativity. Instructor, Laura McMurray.
