Guatemalan paradises!
El verano se asentó en Guatemala; el sol, la arena y las magníficas olas le esperan.
Guatemala cuenta con 41 playas, ubicadas en los océanos Pacífico y Atlántico. Algunas cuentan con arena negra, por ser de origen volcánico, y en otras es dorada o blanca; estas últimas las encuentra en el Atlántico. Si usted planea visitar nuestro país en los próximos días, le recomendamos las siguientes playas.
Monterrico

deada por manglares. Diversidad de hoteles se ubican en la playa, y ofrecen varias opciones como masajes, comida internacional, bares, teatro, entre otros. Uno de ellos es el hotel Oceana, o bien El Faro. También puede rentar apartamento en Los Cabos.

Summer has settled in Guatemala; sun, sand, and the best waves await you. Guatemala has 41 beaches located in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Some of them have black sand because they have volcanic sand, and others are golden or white; these are in the Atlantic. If you plan to visit our country soon we recommend visiting the following beaches.
Monterrico
It is located in Santa Rosa and receives excellent waves and has mangroves surrounding the beach. A diversity of hotels are located on the coast and offer a variety of amenities such as massages, international food, bars, theater, and others. One of them is the Oceana Hotel or El Faro. You can also rent apartments in Los Cabos.
Playa Blanca
Playa Blanca is a private corner of the bay of Amatique, Izabal, where you can isolate yourself from the world and enjoy the white sand and warm waters. The beach is open from 9:00
Playa Blanca
Un rincón privado en la bahía de Amatique, Izabal, donde podrá aislarse del mundo y disfrutar de la arena blanca y de aguas cálidas. La playa se encuentra abierta de 9:00 a 16:00, y solo se puede llegar por medio de lancha.
Playa Dorada
Como su nombre lo indica, se caracteriza por tener arena dorada. El sitio se ubica en Izabal. En la playa podrá encontrar amplia variedad de servicios turísticos y acuáticos, para disfrutar de su viaje.

Las Lisas
Está playa lo impactará, por sus exóticas arenas negras. El lugar está rodeado de varios manglares y por el canal de Chiquimulilla.
En la zona hotelera, podrá encontrar el alojamiento que se adecúe a sus gustos y presupuesto, como los hoteles Maya Jade, Playa Plana o Isla Parlama.
El Chechenal
También la Biosfera Maya alberga playas. Una de ellas es El Chechenal. Sus aguas se caracterizan por el color turquesa y su arena blanca. Es el destino favorito de quienes desean alejarse del mundo.
Esta playa ecológica tiene como atractivo principal el Mirador del Rey Canek, y desde ahí podrá observar el lago y la isla de Flores.

Playa Dorada
The site is located in Izabal; as its name indicates, it has golden sand. On the beach, you can find a wide variety of tourist and aquatic services to enjoy your trip.
Las Lisas
Las Lisas’s exotic black sands will impress you. The place has several mangroves and the Chiquimulilla channel. You can find hotels that suit your tastes and budget in the hotel zone, such as the Maya Jade, Playa Plana, or Isla Parlama hotels.
El Chechenal
The Mayan Biosphere is also home to beaches; one is El Chechenal. Their turquoise color and white sand characterize its waters. It is the favorite destination for those who wish to get away from the world.
The main attraction of this ecoslogical beach is the Mirador del Rey Canek, from where you can observe the lake and the island of Flores.
