The artist celebrated 10 years of artistic creativity with the exhibit Remembranzas Aflorantes (Appearing remembrances).
It was in 2012 when he began to draw fantasy creatures, flora, and fauna, but above all, he illustrates in his sketchbooks his inner world, of which he has 11 to date. Juan Ramón Meza explained, “They are annotations, sketches of elements that catch my eye, symbols, images, and speeches.”

The painter relates that everything he reflects in his collection starts on the inside. “I am interested in the psychological part of the work,” he says.
The exhibit
He added that he likes to find a narrative flow to his creations, discovering the story within all his projects.
“This exhibition is a path of transformation, of rebirth. It is ongoing because we cannot remain static, we must be in motion, and my pieces transmit that”, Meza emphasizes.
The author has exhibited in El Aticco Gallery, Rozas Botrán Galleries, EspacioCe, and Proyecto Poporopo, among others. His last exhibition was at the National School of Visual Arts Rafael Rodríguez Padilla (ENAP, acronym in Spanish), celebrating a decade of his artistic career.
