Importance of being kind
By Adriana and Ciara
The importance of being kind is how you effect other people and their mood and their self-esteem. Due to Covid-19 there is a lot of people going through a hard time. Not being able to see friends or family. One piece of kindness goes a long way, example just saying “Hello” or giving a compliment to someone can make their day!

Back in December 2020 2R decided to write some letters filled with positivity to The Residents in St Patrick’s Nursing home in Baldoyle.
Each girl in our class made a card with a positive message and we each wrote a letter to tell the residents a little about ourselves. We then posted the cards in Raheny village.
Other Ways we can show kindness
Meet somebody who is living alone for a coffee Video call family living outside your 5km
Give somebody a smile and a hello as you pass them Do shopping for your grandparents or elderly neighbours
Bring a high risk persons pet for a walk
